Are you suffering from low self-esteem? Do you see your self as a nobody? Well, I'm here to help you but it will require some level of discipline from you as well .
Are you ready for a challenge? This challenge will take the next 30 days of your life and I need you to be sincere with yourself as you start this 30 days challenge.
So what is self esteem and why should you care
Self-esteem refers to how we regard and appreciate ourselves. It is founded on our views and beliefs about ourselves, which might be difficult to change at times.
Your self-esteem can influence whether or not you:
respect and admire yourself as a person
are capable of making judgments and asserting yourself
recognize your own advantages and disadvantages.
believe in your ability to try new or difficult things
treat oneself with respect
move on from mistakes without unduly criticizing yourself
make the time for yourself that you require.
believe in yourself and your abilities
feel you are deserving of pleasure
Time to fix YOU
Self-esteem is your view of yourself and your abilities in a nutshell. It can be high, low, or somewhere in the middle. While everyone has questions about themselves from time to time, poor self-esteem can leave you feeling insecure and unproductive. You might be able to pinpoint a few factors influencing your self-esteem (whether you're being bullied or feeling lonely), or it could remain a mystery. In any case, if you're wondering how to boost your self-esteem, here are some of my best recommendations.
1. Be nice to yourself
That little voice in your head that tells you whether you're killing it (or not) is a lot more powerful than you realize. Make an effort to be kind to yourself, and if you do make a mistake, dispute any negative ideas you may have. A decent rule of thumb is to talk to yourself as if you were talking to your friends. It may seem difficult and probably weird at first, but practice makes perfect. You can begin by listing five qualities that you admire in yourself.
2. Get moving
Exercise is an excellent approach to boost motivation, practice goal-setting, and gain confidence. Breaking a sweat also triggers the production of feel-good hormones called endorphins.
3. Stop the comparison game
Comparing yourself to others is a certain method to make you feel bad. Rather than comparing yourself to others, try to focus on your own objectives and accomplishments. That kind of stress is unnecessary!
4. Nobody’s perfect
Always strive to be the best version of yourself, but keep in mind that perfection is an impossible aim to achieve. My own rule of thumb is that I always remember that an amateur built the ark while professionals built Titanic yet Titanic sank while the Ark didn't. So be the amateur who is constantly improving. Don't wait; keep improving and becoming the best version of yourself.
5. Do what makes you happy
You're more inclined to think favorably if you spend time doing things you enjoy. Every day, try to set aside some time for yourself. Make time for whatever makes you happy, whether it's reading, cooking, hanging out with friends, playing video games, or simply relaxing on the couch for a while.
6. Celebrate the small wins
This morning, you were punctual. Tick. Your eggs were perfectly poached. Winning. You made your bed after waking up. Jackpot! Celebrating tiny triumphs is a terrific technique to boost confidence, improve self-esteem, and to boost your mood for that day too.
7. Be nice
Being kind and attentive to others will not only make them feel better, but it will also make you feel better about yourself.
8. Stop Masturbation & Porn
I know you never expect me to include this in the things you will have to do in the next 30 days. But I just did. Masturbation has a way of dehumanizing any individual who indulges in it and it will affect your self esteem greatly. You lose energy, focus and many more. And the worst part is that it's more addictive than drugs. Stay away from porn and masturbation for the next 30 days.
I hope these few points of mine will be able to kickstart your self-esteem journey. Remember, just try these steps for 30 days and see whether you like who you have become or you want to go back to your formal self. Just give it a try.
