From what i have observed around me, nowadays, parents biring up their unique children in a spoiled way and coddle them. Furthermore, this is considered self-confidence. I think this kind of self-confidence would have no ground, and would influence the behaviours of them negatively.
It is interesting in my opinion that people want kids to build resilience, but coddle and build them safe zones where they are kept away from the conditions of hardship required. Then, wonder why the younger generations are unable to face the realities of the world.
That'ts why parents are still behind them both mentally and materially even after their marriage.
