"Satisfaction Comes in Believing the Value of What You Do"
I just couldn't stop thinking about these words from a book I was reading titled "Think Like a Monk" by Jay Shetty

In a world that often measures success by external validation and material gains, it's easy to lose sight of what truly brings fulfillment and satisfaction in life. While financial prosperity and recognition can be appealing, there is a deeper and more profound source of contentment that comes from within – the belief in the value of what you do. Whether it's your profession, a hobby, or a personal endeavor, finding purpose and meaning in your actions is a powerful catalyst for genuine satisfaction and happiness.

The Quest for Purpose:
Human beings are inherently driven to find meaning in their lives. This search for purpose goes beyond just the basic survival instinct; it's an essential aspect of human psychology. When we believe that our actions and contributions have significance and positively impact others or the world around us, it fuels our motivation and determination.

Consider individuals who have devoted their lives to noble causes like charitable work, environmental conservation, or social justice. Their unwavering dedication comes from their genuine belief in the importance of their efforts. Even in more conventional professions, such as teaching, medicine, or law, finding purpose in helping others or making a difference in people's lives can lead to immense job satisfaction.

The Fulfillment of Intrinsic Motivation:
Intrinsic motivation is the driving force that comes from within, independent of external rewards. Engaging in activities that align with your passions, values, and sense of purpose sparks intrinsic motivation. When you find joy and fulfillment in the process itself, the pursuit becomes its own reward.
For instance, imagine an artist who creates paintings not merely for commercial success or fame but because they are genuinely passionate about expressing their emotions through art. The act of painting becomes a cathartic and deeply rewarding experience for them, regardless of whether their works are acclaimed or sold.
