Rocket boys(2022) is a sonyLIV series that tells the story of India's first space mission and how two young scientists made their dream to make India's scientific superpower.
The series has a total of 8 episodes, It is a pan-Indian series available in Hindi(original), Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali(dubbed). Abhay Pannu is the director of this series. We can see his brilliance in throught the series. I watched in Tamil. It was good, the dubbing artists are great with their given characters. I am a Malayali, But I mostly watch dubbing movies or series in Tamil.
The characters are played their roles well, It is the perfect casting for all characters. Ishwak Singh acted as Respected Vikram Sarabhai, Jim sarbh played as Homi Jahangir Bhabha these are the central characters of the story. Also included a fictitious character Razza mehadhi this character is like a villain but not as other movies,
Homi and Vikram started as a student and teacher relationship. Latter they follow their dream together. The story of the series is not boring like sociology class. We will understand how India started the space and scientific journey. Vikram has a dream to make a rocket and make India proud. Homi for make India's own Energy source, they both succeeding on their path. Also Dr.A.P.J. Adul khalam sir joining Vikram to make the space mission.

By watching this you can get the knowledge about our Indias before and after independence. After 1947 August 15 India's Independence technological growth started. In 1956 August 4 Asia's first nuclear reactor APSARA was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru, 1963 November 21 Indias' first rocket RH-200 launched in Thumba(Kerala).
These are the major incidents in this series. It is not a spoilot, This is a Historical Drama series so no space for any spoilers. Also having a relationship between Parvana Irani(pipsy) and Homi Bhabha, Vikram, and Mirnaliny's family life. The film crew hardly worked on researching about every political and non-political event in that period.
The visuals and screenplay of it is good enough, The dialogs are so impactful. If you are an Indian you can relate to it more. The casting of the Homi character is the same facial look as the real Homi.j.bhabha. we need to encourage series like this. This helps to reach out about our country's history to more people.
I recommend everyone to watch this series. The story, acting, visuals never disappoint you
