Entonces quiero compartir con ustedes mis apreciaciones como amante del cine y me parece genial la idea de categorizar las películas por actor o actriz. Hello, dear Movies & TV Shows community! This time I want to share with you my Top 5 favorite Will Smith movies, because I've seen a lot of his movies; well I've seen a lot of movies in general. So I want to share with you my appreciations as a movie lover and I think it's great the idea of categorizing the movies by actor or actress. Soon I will bring you a top with an actress, I am just waiting for a muse. If you want me to make a top of a specific actress, let me know in the comments.
Ahora bien, ¿Por qué Will Smith, si su vida personal se encuentra en el ojo del huracán? Primeramente me gusta separar la vida personal de lo laboral, bueno aunque su última actuación en la premiación de los Oscar, donde obtuvo el premio a “Mejor Actor”; no fue nada personal y es sabido que dicho incidente lo ha dejado mal parado en el mundo del espectáculo y en general, sin embargo quiero dejar a un lado su vida personal ya que obviamente solo le pertenece a él; y quiero enfocarme en aquellas películas donde he considerado que ha tenido una excelente actuación y que me ha regalado gratos momentos de entretenimiento.
A Will Smith lo conocí en los años 90 con su icónico papel en la serie El Príncipe del Rap, creo que muchos lo conocemos desde allí, ¿Qué noventero no se sabe la intro de esa serie? Tenemos que reunirnos para cantarlas a coro. Posteriormente la primera película que vi de él fue el “Día de la independencia”, gracias a esa película muchos nos enteramos que el día de la Independencia de EEUU es el 4 de julio; un día antes que la Independencia de Venezuela que es el 5 de julio. Bueno, pero ya me estoy desviando del tema, sin más comencemos con el top.
Now, why Will Smith, if his personal life is in the eye of the hurricane? First of all I like to separate personal life from work, well although his last performance at the Oscars, where he won the award for "Best Actor" was nothing personal and it is known that this incident has left him in a bad light in the entertainment world and in general, however I want to leave aside his personal life as it obviously only belongs to him; and I want to focus on those films where I have considered that he has had an excellent performance and that has given me pleasant moments of entertainment..
I met Will Smith in the 90's with his iconic role in the series The Prince of Rap, I think many of us know him from there, what 90's fan doesn't know the intro of that series? We need to get together to sing it in chorus. Later the first movie I saw of him was "Independence Day", thanks to that movie many of us learned that the US Independence Day is July 4th; one day before the Venezuelan Independence Day which is July 5th. Well, but I'm getting off topic, so let's start with the top.

Esta película se estrenó en el año 2005. Nos presenta como trama un mundo futurista donde ya los humanos nos encontramos conviviendo con normalidad con los robots inteligentes, pero entonces muy al estilo de “Terminator” y la rebelión de las máquinas, un robot se ve involucrado en un crimen rompiendo las leyes que protegían al ser humano de cualquier daño. Entonces Will encarna al detective Del Spooner, quien será el encargado de investigar la situación.
La película me gusta, porque la ciencia ficción acompañada de la acción más un poco de suspenso, es una buena combinación para hacer una película entretenida, si a esto le sumamos a Will con su carisma, obtendremos 115 minutos de full entretenimiento. También recomiendo verla porque a pesar de que cuando se estrenó, nos hablaban de un tiempo lejano, en la actualidad vemos que nos encontramos muy cerca de esa realidad; debido a que ya hemos avanzado muchísimos en la creación de la inteligencia artificial y el transhumanismo, entonces pienso que muy pronto los humanos llegaremos a compartir con tranquilidad y armonía con los robots inteligentes. Solo espero que esta inteligencia artificial no se vuelva contra nosotros los humanos como en las películas.
This movie was released in 2005. It presents us with a futuristic world where humans are already living normally with intelligent robots, but then very much in the style of "Terminator" and the rebellion of the machines, a robot is involved in a crime breaking the laws that protect humans from harm. De antemano quiero pedir disculpas, por hacer un poquito de trampa, pero en este puesto voy hacer un ¡Triple empate! Con la trilogía que involucra ciencia ficción, acción y comedia como lo es: Hombres de Negro I, II y III.
De verdad disculpen, pero la situación lo amerita, ya que en la primera película estrenada en el 1997, vemos como los extraterrestres han vivido entre nosotros y que Los Hombres de Negro son agentes cuya misión consiste en controlar a los alienígenas; Will encarna a “J” un agente recién incorporado, muy carismático y ocurrente. En la segunda película, estrenada en el 2002, continuamos viendo como Will sigue controlando a los alienígenas, pero la situación se escapa de control y tiene que buscar ayuda de su antiguo compañero de trabajo. Luego en la última película estrenada en el año 2012, nos regalan un cierre perfecto que involucra viajes en el tiempo y donde conoceremos el origen del porque el agente “J” pertenece a los hombres de negro.
Es una trilogía, súper entretenida y con una trama completa gracias al final que le dieron, donde se aprecia a Will súper fresco y divertido. Recomiendo ver la trilogía en domingo o cuando gustes, siempre que quieras lanzarte un maratón de películas; aunque también se dejan disfrutar por separado. Esta película fue estrenada en el año 2015, es bastante fresca y entretenida. Donde Will caracteriza a “Nicky” un estafador profesional quien inicia una relación con una estafadora novata y juntos se emprenden en el mundo de la estafa, mientras él le enseña sus trucos. En este caso los estafadores utilizan el engaño para hacer sus fechorías, haciéndolo ver de manera majestuoso como si de un arte se tratase.
La película me gusta, porque te lleva a analizar como la mente del ser humano puede ser inducida o programada para tomar decisiones, entonces esto me hace pensar ¿Cuántas veces hemos sido inducidos a tomar una decisión? Donde creemos que fue decisión propia, pero pensándolo bien nunca estaremos 100% seguros de esta afirmación.
This movie was released in 2015, it is quite fresh and entertaining. Where Will characterizes "Nicky" a professional con artist who starts a relationship with a novice con artist and together they embark on the world of conning, while he teaches her his tricks. Esta película la he visto como un millón de veces y cuando se me atraviesa la vuelvo a ver, porque es súper divertida y ligera, pero en general es una agradable comedia romántica realizada al mejor del estilo cómico, carismático y alegre de Will, que sin duda me encanta y me invita a verla desde el principio hasta el fin.
Fue estrenada en el año 2005, y nos narra la historia bastante trivial de una especie de Doctor corazón, donde “Alex Hitcher” encarnado por Will, se dedica a preparar a hombres digamos un poco no tan agraciados, para que puedan tener en su vida a la mujer de sus sueños, pero luego vemos que Alex es atrapado en el mundo del amor al conocer a una periodista, quien le hace dar cuenta que aún le falta aprender mucho acerca del amor. Porque después de todo ¿Quién conoce del todo a las mujeres? Ni nosotras mismas sabemos a veces lo queremos; y también puedo preguntarme después de ver la película ¿Tendrá alguien la receta para el amor?
I've seen this movie about a million times and whenever I come across it I watch it again, because it's super funny and light, but in general it's a nice romantic comedy made in the best of Will's comic, charismatic and cheerful style, which without a doubt I love and invites me to watch it from the beginning to the end.

Admito de una vez, que lloré cuando vi por primera vez esta película. Aun no entiendo porque Will no se ganó el Oscar a “Mejor Actor” con su actuación en esta película. Aunque la película nos narra básicamente el sueño americano, pero reflejado con una alta actuación, y direccionado con gran habilidad, donde Will presenta una sincera actuación donde podemos admirar su cálida expresividad, dándonos claro que no solo sabe actuar en comedias, sino que puede ser catalogado también como un gran actor de drama. Además la película tiene un plus, ya que con en ella actúa Jaden Smith, su hijo, quien nos deleita con una interpretación encantadora y tierna.
La película fue estrenada en el 2006 y narra la historia de la vida real de Chris Gardner (interpretado por Will) desde sus inicios como un vendedor a domicilio, pero vemos que su empleo no le permitió cubrir sus necesidades básicas y mucho menos la de su hijo de cinco años. Luego vemos como Chris haciendo homenaje al título de la película, consigue hacer unas prácticas en una correduría de bolsa; mientras padre e hijo afrontan las adversidades que conllevan el no tener dinero para el sustento diario, aun así Chris continua luchando para hacer realidad su sueño de vivir una vida mejor.
Esta película a pesar de ser del género drama, nos cuenta una atrapante historia, que nos motiva a luchar por nuestros sueños o metas. Recomiendo verla, es una de esas películas que puedes disfrutar en familia o a solas, si eres de los que lloras fácilmente con este género.
I admit at once, I cried when I first saw this movie. I still don't understand why Will didn't win the Oscar for "Best Actor" with his performance in this movie. Although the film basically tells us the American dream, but reflected with a high performance, and directed with great skill, where Will presents a sincere performance where we can admire his warm expressiveness, making it clear that not only knows how to act in comedies, but can also be categorized as a great drama actor. In addition, the film has a plus, since it stars Jaden Smith, his son, who delights us with a charming and tender interpretation.

I've seen a lot of will smith movies and I can say for sure that he's a great actor, he always makes sure to own every character he is given...I particularly enjoyed independence day, it was full of so much struggle and it told the struggles of America..Hitch was another loveable one, the story was one I enjoyed so much...same with focus..so much tricks and still so enjoyable...I think your number one is well deserved, such a touching story...you have good taste my dear.. totally enjoyed reading this ❤️

Will Smith sin duda es un gran actor, su vida personal no tiene nada que ver con sus actuaciones, es un icono en el mundo del cine, desde sus inicios, recuerdo ver el príncipe del Rap, todo un personaje, recientemente vi su personificación en la película de las tenistas, tienes que verla, muy buena también, y no te niego llore con en Busca de la felicidad, es una de mis favoritas, ame esa película, fue una de las mejores, a mi parecer, tanto por la historia que nos muestra, como las actuaciones, buena elección amiga, todas son buenas, saludos.
Excelente Actor, Aunque ya sabes que su actuación en los oscares... Pero ¿A quien le importa? Jeje cuando tenemos sus grandiosaa películas que podemos ver una y otra vez 🥰
La he empezado a ver, no la he terminado (tema de Internet). Aunque no tengo muchas expectativas con ella por ser una especie de biografía, sabes que allí se suaviza un poco la realidad, pero quiero verla para ver porque will se ganó el Oscar.

Wow, there are a lot of will find that I didn't know about 😂. My best of his films though is the boys. I love it cause it's a mixture of action and comedy and I think that's where his acting magic really come alive because he did wonders in it. Have you watched it?
Just Bab Boys I and II, as you said, action and comedy movies that don't let you take your eyes off the screen. Just remembering them makes me smile, Will and his sidekick definitely did their thing as comedians..... 🤣

Para mi Will Smith fue mi actor favorito durante mi adolescencia y juventud más temprana, luego ya no tanto, pero siempre lo he tenido en un lugar especial entre mis interpretes preferidos. También, comencé a admirarlo desde la serie el príncipe del rap, en mi caso mis películas favoritas son 1) En busca de la felicidad, 2) Soy leyenda, 3) Yo robot, 4) Dia de la independencia y 5) Bad Boys. No he visto algunas, como es el caso de la del Método Williams o Proyecto Genesis, pero la mayor parte de las que he visto me parecen buenas, quizá la que menos sea Wild Wild West. Podría decir con facilidad que Will es mi actor favorito también, tiene la capacidad para actuar en papeles de comedia o drama bastante bien, mi película favorita de él esta entre En busca de la felicidad y Soy leyenda, realmente me gustan ambas aunque su actuación se nota más en la primera antes nombrada. Es realmente bueno y lo admiro, buen post ✌️
La capacidad de actuar diversos géneros sin perder su esencia es lo que lo hace un excelente actor.
Soy Leyenda, excelente película, te pido disculpas por no meterla en la lista, pero como viste tenia que hacer trampa con Hombres de Negro, 😅 entonces imagínate ya tenía que hacer era un top 10 jajaja. Fué muy muy difícil escoger unas 5.
