The thing about a film which is so real is that, because you can watch it over and over, it can actually become more real than real life. Memories fade, even the ones you want to hold onto most. I can really understand the allure of Peter F Hamilton's scifi drug rekaul.

Loving his book that you recommended BTW. Have to try your film recommendations.

I thought that was a very interesting idea for an addiction - the past. (though aren't we all hooked on it already, in some way?) I'm glad you're enjoying it! I was very confused at first with the immense cast of characters, but overall really enjoyable read.

Films, I dunno. All the films I put on here seem to be either about love or sadness or both, so might not make for the most appealing viewing.
