Film Review 65 - Survive on earth 65 million years ago

In 2023 there will be lots of exciting films, especially action films which have very sad storylines, today I just finished watching the film Sixty Five (65). This is a very touching film because it tells the story of a father's very difficult struggle in working to find money to cure the illness his daughter is suffering from.

This great film, directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, stars Adam Driver as Mills, Ariana Greenbalt as Koa, Chole Coleman as Nevine and Nika King as Alya.

The synopsis of the film entitled 65 tells the story of a father who works as a spaceship pilot who is willing to leave his small family to fly into space so that he can get some money to treat the illness their little daughter is suffering from.

The film opens with a picture of a happy small family living on the planet Simaris. The small family is shown enjoying the sunset together on the beach.

They are a father named Mills, a wife named Alya and their little daughter named Nevine. While watching their baby Nevine play on the beach, Mills asked his wife for permission to travel to space for 2 years so he could earn enough money to treat their daughter.

With great sadness and emotion, the wife allowed her husband to go on the trip, then Mills approached Nevine who was playing on the beach, with tears continuing to flow down her cheeks, she also asked Nevine for permission to travel to space for 2 years to looking for money to be able to treat Nevine.

Hearing this, Nevine graciously allowed his father to go into space. Then the film scene shifts to a spaceship carrying several passengers in a capsule.

The plane was piloted by Mills, while Mills was resting, their plane suddenly hit a Meteor which caused the spaceship to be damaged and it fell to an alien planet.

It turns out that the planet was Earth 65 million years ago, and at that time the Earth was still inhabited by dinosaurs. In this tragedy, the only survivor was Mills, while all the other passengers had died.

Then Mills immediately sent a voice message to his colleagues who might be near planet Earth so they could help him. Mills realized that there was a small child who had survived the tragedy. Seeing the small child who was still unconscious in the capsule he immediately saved him.

Then Mills started walking carrying his sophisticated tools to detect runaway planes that might be nearby. And finally Mills managed to find an escape plane that could take him back to his home planet. is 15 km from its current position and is on a mountain.

After the little girl saved by Mills woke up from fainting, it turned out that the child was named Koa. Mills immediately persuaded the child to go with him to the top of the mountain where the escape plane was located.

Tragically, in the plane crash, Koa's parents were lost in the world. Strangely enough, it turned out that Mills and Koa came from different planets, which meant they couldn't speak to each other well because their languages were different.

When Mills invited Koa to go to the mountain to save himself, in Koa's mind Mills invited him to meet his parents, because at that time Koa still didn't know that his parents had died.

Mills immediately agreed to Koa's understanding so that Koa would go with Mills to go to the escape plane.

When they were about to go to the top of the mountain where the escape plane was, several Dinosaurs appeared and suddenly attacked them, various types of Dinosaurs appeared which put Mills and Koa in a state of chaos which made them always have to work together to fight each other. protect themselves.

When night fell, Mills and Koa finally decided to rest by the river while drinking a few sips of the very natural and fresh river water in front of them.

There, the cheerful Koa gave flowers to Mills who was sleeping on a rock, that's when a very sad moment was shown, Mills immediately thought of his daughter who was waiting for him to come home with his beloved wife.

As soon as morning arrived, several dinosaurs appeared again, which made Mills and Koa have to protect each other again to save themselves. In this scene it is shown that Mills is almost killed by one of the dinosaurs, with great courage Koa immediately stabs the dinosaur with a piece of poisonous wood which makes the dinosaur die and Mills survives.

Mills and Koa already look like Father and Son in surviving and protecting each other in this film, this is really a very touching story and even made my tears flow by themselves while watching this film.

Finally, Mills and Koa have almost arrived at the escape plane they wanted to go to after a long and very tiring journey, but now they see a very large asteroid falling to earth.

Luckily, Mills and Koa managed to fly on the escape plane just before the asteroid hit the earth. That was the event that caused the extinction of dinosaurs after the earth was hit by an asteroid.

When they arrived in outer space, now some of Mills' friends started to connect and were able to communicate with him and now they were heading to the escape plane that Mills and Koa were on to save them.

That's a very exciting review of the film 65, even though the story of this film is very sad, it ends with a happy ending. It's only natural that this 90 minute film gets a rating of 5.4 out of 10 points according to the IMDB site.

Conclusion

Love our parents because they are actually willing to fight, even willing to risk their lives to earn a living for our happiness, like Mills who was willing to take big risks to fly into space to get money to save his daughter.

We also have to be someone with a good heart and want to help everyone around us like Mills who was willing to bring Koa home by risking his life.

And as people who get help from other people, we must be grateful and willing to help people who help us when they are in trouble, like Koa who also wanted to help save Mills' life when he was about to be attacked by a very ferocious dinosaur.
