Hello,
Did I break a rule? This is my fourth post I crossposted into the group and this is the first that I heard I am not allowed to. Also I reviewed the about section and did not immediately notice any rules that I may have inadvertently broke.

Crossposting is a bit of a weird thing here on Hive. Some have more acceptance towards it, and others don't. I've been pretty relaxed on the idea of them in the past, but as the community grows I don't think they're very fair. Posting in one community, then crossposting in another to get double the rewards while not contributing to that other community in any way is a bit of an insult.
You'll find people on Hive aren't likely to curate a crosspost for this very reason. And some outright refuse to accept them altogether. That's the direction my community is now going in. The people that are active and actually offer their time and effort to the community get rewarded; those who just dump a post from elsewhere don't.
You seem to be new to Hive so hopefully this gives you a bit more context on the whole crossposting idea. In general it's best to just avoid it. Few are going to curate the crosspost and many will just mute them. It's seen more as spam than contribution.
Firstly,
Thank you for a much more detailed response than previously. Your first message was pretty rude and lazy. Secondly, you are the admin so if you do not allow something you should make it explicitly clear and not just comment on my post. I see that you added it in after I mentioned it to you. so I do feel special that you changed the rules for me. I took pictures of the rules before I responded just in case you were wondering. Lastly, I still do not see why you are against cross posting. Anything that brings traffic to a page should be a good thing. But as long as it is banned by the group I will no longer do it. Thank you and have a nice day.
I informed another person that often crossposts in the community as well. They were happy to acknowledge it. You're not as special as you think. Anyway, acting so entitled isn't going to get you anywhere on here, and definitely not going to get you unmuted. Good luck.
