Synopsis
A historical drama about the relationship between a Civil War soldier and a band of Sioux Indians, Kevin Costner's directorial debut was also a surprisingly popular hit, considering its length, period setting, and often somber tone.
As a lover of Westerns this is actually one of my favorite movies. I remember my first time watching and thinking to myself this movie is pretty good. I liked the way movie progressed and how he builds a relationship with the Sioux tribe. He ends up pretty much becoming a honorary member of the tribe. Plenty of action and also some romance. I also love the landscape and scenery, makes you feel like your part of the movie.
The movie is pretty long so make sure you have some time on your hands. I highly recommend watching. Grabs some snacks, and get a comfortable seat.
