This movie is great!
I saw the movie and read the book afterwards.
The book is a gem, it has an excellent story, it has a satirical narrative that makes some things ironic and funny even though the matter is not funny at all.
It is true that the book and the movie have some different events, but they always have the same ending and the important aspects follow the book faithfully.
The movie was so well made that it was able to capture the gist and irony of the book even though several events were changed to fit it into a movie, but the details of the movie's production like the dirt on the clothes, the portrayal of society and its social classes, and the great performances of the actors, the details of the scenarios, the soundtrack, almost just by watching the movie you could feel all the bad smell of the environment, made it an excellent movie.
Highly recommend both the book and the movie 😎.
