La semana pasada terminé de ver una miniserie brasileña disponible en HBO, se estrenó el 25 de septiembre y tiene 10 episodios. Vale Dos Esquecidos o en español El Valle Olvidado es un thriller de misterio y drama que me enganchó desde el primer momento, siempre me han atraído las películas de misterio en las que poco a poco vamos descubriendo el porqué de las cosas, en esta en concreto desde el primer capítulo todo es intriga, enseguida sientes que alguien esconde un secreto o que algo se está tramando.

Lo que si les puedo decir es que esta serie no es para todo el mundo, creo que si hubiera tenido una idea de hacia donde iba la historia no hubiera tenido la intención de verla, los primeros 4 capítulos están llenos de suspenso e intriga que realmente no sabes nada de nada y eso hace que quieras seguir viendo el resto hasta descubrir que es lo que pasa. Claro, el ambiente parece extraño y sospechas que algo espeluznante pasa en ese lugar, pero no creo que llegues a imaginar lo que realmente pasa. Pero les voy a contar el argumento y luego les diré lo que me ha parecido y la impresión que me ha dejado.

Trama / Plot

Un grupo de jóvenes realiza una excursión de fin de semana a una montaña, durante la caminata pierden el rastro y atraviesan zonas peligrosas de las que casi todos salen ilesos, tras la mala experiencia llegan a un pueblo cubierto de niebla donde se refugian y son tratados cordialmente por sus habitantes.

Valle Sereno es un lugar tranquilo, cubierto de niebla, pero lo más peculiar del pueblo es el clima, ya que parece haberse quedado estancado en el tiempo, la arquitectura y su habitantes se comportan y visten como si vivieran en la época victoriana. Algo que llamo la atención a este grupo de jóvenes integrados por Ana, Bento, Coyote, Bruna, Alma, Giovanna y Fred.

Valle Sereno is a quiet place, covered in fog, but the most peculiar thing about the town is the climate, as it seems to have been stuck in time, the architecture and its inhabitants behave and dress as if they lived in the Victorian era. Something that caught the attention of this group of young people integrated by Ana, Bento, Coyote, Bruna, Alma, Giovanna and Fred.

Lo que me gustó de la serie es que cada personaje tiene una historia que va desarrollando a través de los capítulos, algunas más retorcidas y sobrenaturales que las otras. No es que durante toda la serie los jóvenes pasan los capítulos juntos, al contrario, cada uno hace una vida en el pueblo, conocen personas y tienen sus propios problemas. Para muchas personas puede llegar a ser fastidiosa por lo lenta que se desarrolla la trama y piensen que talvez pudieran haber contado la historia en cinco o siete capítulos, pero ese suspenso es el que hace que quieras seguir conociendo de los personajes y de cómo van a resolver para escapar ¿De verdad pueden escapar de Valle Sereno? Esa es la pregunta que me hice durante las 10 semanas que esperé para conocer el final, que por cierto quedó abierto para una siguiente temporada, todavía no hay información de esto pero cuando empezó me imaginé que le iban a dar un final con todas las resoluciones ya que es una miniserie, pero no, aunque se descubrieron los secretos algo quedó sin resolver y podemos tener material para una nueva temporada.
