🎬 GOOD FRIENDS SUPPORT EACH OTHER EVEN IN THE MOST DIFFICULT MOMENTS NO MATTER HOW UPHILL THAT MOMENT IN THEIR LIVES MAY BECOME.
A few days ago I came across a movie that I really did not expect to like so much and above all that it knew how to touch sensitive fibers in me the way it did and with this I do not mean that it made me cry for hours and that it is the movie that deserves an Oscar or to be considered by the community the best movie of recent times, it is not at all a simple movie with some recognized actors but nothing out of this world.
🇪🇸 LOS BUENOS AMIGOS SE APOYAN HASTA EN LOS MOMENTOS MÁS DIFÍCILES SIN IMPORTAR LO CUESTA ARRIBA QUE SE PUEDA VOLVER ESE MOMENTO EN SUS VIDAS.
Hace unos días me topé con una película que la verdad no esperaba que me gustara tanto y sobre todo que supiera tocar fibras sensibles en mi de la manera en que lo hizo y con esto no quiero decir que me haya echo llorar por horas y que sea la película que merezca algún óscar o ser considerada por la comunidad la mejor película de los últimos tiempo, no para nada es una película sencilla con unos actores reconocidos pero nada del otro mundo.
When I see a movie where they mix Drama / Comedy I usually take it very seriously and I hope that in the end it is not only comedy because for me it is a little difficult to accept that everything is laughter if there is some drama in the story and perhaps it is the starting point of any film that unfolds in this genre. I have had the opportunity to see films like Intouchables and Demolition where they touch such sensitive issues that can certainly make the strongest man drop a couple of tears, but that also knows how to move through the comedy genre without the need to spoil a story that somehow wants to maintain a seriousness that makes the viewer is committed and does not lose that approach that in the end is what they want to convey to the viewer.
Our friend features the performances of (Jason Segel) who I had the opportunity to see and enjoy in one of the funniest series I've seen as How I Met Your Mother which I do not understand why a certain part of the community does not like in the least without forgetting Mr. (Casey Affleck) and the beautiful (Dakota Johnson) which appears as a protagonist in dozens of films and one in particular that I want to share with you which is called The Peanut Butter Falcon I recommend it is very good and leaves a powerful and inspiring message.
Cuando veo una película donde mezclan Drama / Comedia suelo tomármelo con mucha seriedad y espero que al final no solo sea comedia ya que para mí es un poco difícil aceptar que todo sea risas si en la historia existe algo de drama y quizás sea el punto de partida de cualquier película que se desenvuelva en este género. He tenido la oportunidad de ver películas como Intouchables y Demolition donde tocan temas tan sensibles que sin duda pueden hacer que el hombre más fuerte deje caer un par de lágrimas, pero que también se sabe mover por el género de la comedia sin la necesidad de echar a perder una historia que de cierto modo quiere mantener una seriedad que haga que el espectador se comprometa y no pierda ese enfoque que al final es el que desean transmitir al espectador.
Our friend cuenta con las actuaciones de (Jason Segel) quien tuve la oportunidad de ver y disfrutar en una de las series más divertidas que he visto cómo How I Met Your Mother la cual no entiendo por qué a una cierta parte de la comunidad no le gusta en lo más mínimo sin olvidar al señor (Casey Affleck) y la hermosa (Dakota Johnson) la cual aparece como protagonista en docenas de películas y en una en especial que deseo compartir contigo la cual lleva por nombre The Peanut Butter Falcon te la recomiendo es muy buena y deja un mensaje poderoso e inspirador.
These actors give life to the film and immerse us in a sea of emissions from start to finish where through each character and their perspective of what is happening shows us the different stages of a woman who suffers from cancer and only has 6 months to go which she will make the most of, but before she will have to go through difficult times, where betrayal, lies, heartbreak and one where love and friendship can be conjured in the same sentence.

We will know the story of Nicole (Dakota Johnson) a woman who is diagnosed with cancer and has a limited time left to live which will turn her world upside down and it will be crucial every second not to fall into the abyss of sadness. Accompanied by her husband and two daughters, she will face this difficult situation and the fortune of having a loyal friend will be the greatest support to make every second special and can serve as a lifesaver in those moments where everything can end if you do not have by your side the person who lifts you up to keep fighting.
The film is developed from the perspective of each character and some flashback that immerse you in a before and after Nicole's illness which makes each scene interesting and you can understand each situation and character in the most organic way possible.
🇪🇸 Estos actores le dan vida a la película y nos sumergen en un mar de emisiones de inicio a fin donde a través de cada personaje y su perspectiva de lo que está sucediendo nos muestra las diferentes etapas de una mujer que sufre de cáncer y solo le quedan 6 meses de ida los cuales aprovechará al máximo, pero antes tendrá que pasar por momentos difíciles, donde la traición, mentiras, desamor y una donde el amor y la amista pueden ser conjurados en la misma oración.

Conoceremos la historia de Nicole (Dakota Johnson) una mujer que le diagnostican cáncer y le queda un tiempo limitado de vida lo que hará que su mundo se ponga de cabeza y sea crucial cada segundo para no caer en el abismo de la tristeza. Acompañada de su esposo y sus dos hijas enfrentará esta difícil situación y la fortuna de contar con un amigo leal será el mayor apoyo para que cada segundo sea especial y pueda servir como salvavidas en esos momentos donde todo se puede acabar si no tienes a tu lado la persona que te levante para seguir luchando.
La película se desarrolla desde la perspectiva de cada personaje y algunos flashback que te sumergen en un antes y después de la enfermedad de Nicole lo cual hace cada escena interesante y puedas entender cada situación y personaje de la forma más orgánica posible.

A very touching plot that is not subjected to includeable performances or a story never seen before, I think the way they develop the story by introducing a dozen flashbacks is what makes it so great and they knew how to do it without the need to look so forced and managed to capture the viewer's attention, showing small moments in the life of each character and how important it is for each one the existence of the other.
🇪🇸 Matthew (Casey Affleck) es el esposo y quien deberá afrontar esta dura situación, pero antes de conocer la enfermedad de su esposa conoceremos un poco sobre él y como de la noche a la mañana su trabajo consumió su tiempo y lo fue alejando de su familia, esto ocasiona que dentro de su relación exista una rotura y que haga que cada día lejos de sus seres querido sea como abrir una herida que aún no ha sanado.
Por otra parte conoceremos al buen amigo Dane (Jason Segel) un hombre solitario que vive en su mundo intentando comprender cuál es su lugar en este mundo, pasará por situaciones donde el amor no le sonreirá, pero donde encontrará la verdadera amistad en una mujer que se mostrara tal como es y la abrirá las puertas de su hogar. Dan entenderá el significado de la vida y será el gran apoyo de Matthew ambos vivirán momentos inolvidables que harán inmortal su amistad.
Una trama muy conmovedora que no se sujeta a actuaciones incluibles o una historia nunca antes vista, creo que la manera en cómo desarrollan la historia introduciendo una docena de flashback es lo que la hace tan genial y es que supieron hacerlo sin la necesidad que se viera tan forzado y lograran captar la atención del espectador, mostrando pequeños momentos de la vida de cada personaje y lo importante que es para cada uno la existencia del otro.
I have not seen the other films of the director (Gabriela Cowperthwaite), but I must confess that this one has hit the mark without a doubt and I hope to see films with this style that perhaps for some are not the best in the world but from my humble opinion they know how to present a story without the need to exaggerate or include situations that make it repetitive or heavy something that does not happen here since from the beginning you can see how they take you by the hand and do not make you feel uncomfortable with each scene rather you want to know more about their characters and create a bond with each of them. One of the few movies that I have had the opportunity to praise and it left in me a great message and was able to move me to the point of feeling mixed emotions, years ago I lost a great friend who was like my grandfather and I know how it feels to lose someone you love with all your heart.

🎬 MY SPOILER FREE OPINION
Something that kept me interested in the plot was to see how they knew how to use the flashback resource and didn't abuse it at any time, this resource is almost used in situations where the director tries to fill some spaces in the plot or to tell a story in a different timeline, sometimes it doesn't turn out as expected since seeing so many scenes outside the timeline we are living makes the movie confusing or somewhat heavy for the viewer. In this opportunity nothing negative happens, rather it is a resource that should have been used to understand the motivations of each character and the reason why some things happen out of context that makes them come together in a natural way.
🇪🇸 No he visto las otras películas de la directora (Gabriela Cowperthwaite), pero debo confesar que esta ha dado en el blanco sin duda alguna y espero ver películas con este estilo que quizás para algunos no sean la mejor del mundo pero que desde mi humilde opinión saben cómo presentar una historia sin la necesidad de exagerar o incluir situaciones que la hagan repetitiva o pesada algo que no ocurre aquí ya que desde el inicio puedes ver cómo te llevan de la mano y no te hacen sentir incómodo con cada escena más bien deseas conocer más a sus personajes y creas un lazo con cada uno de ellos. De las pocas películas que he tenido la oportunidad de halagar y es que dejo en mi un gran mensaje y pudo conmoverme hasta el punto de sentir emociones encontradas, hace años perdí un gran amigo que era como mi abuelo y se lo que se siente perder alguien que amas con todo el corazón.

MI OPINIÓN LIBRE DE SPOILERS
Algo que me mantuvo interesado en la trama fue ver cómo supieron utilizar el recurso del flashback y no abusaron de él en ningún momento, este recurso es casi usado en situaciones donde el director intenta rellenar algunos espacios en la trama o para contar un historia en una línea de tiempo distinta, en ocasiones no resulta como se espera ya que ver tantas escenas fuera de la línea de tiempo que estamos viviendo hace que la película sea confusa o algo pesada para el espectador. En esta oportunidad no ocurre nada negativo más bien es un recurso que si o si se debió usar para entender las motivaciones de cada personaje y la razón por la cual algunas cosas suceden fuera de contexto que hace que se unan de manera natural.
From that point I loved the movie, but I must also confess that the interpretation of (Dakota Johnson) made me fall in love since I had my doubts about her work because in the movie Wounds of which I recently reviewed, her interpretation had left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Another thing that I see interesting in the movie is the way in which a situation outside the main plot can serve as a bridge to create different plots and the possibility of interacting in a symbolic way with a different story that holds its own without the need to detract from the main plot, a scene that I liked was when Matthew reads an email that Nicole sends him and discovers without realizing something that would break any relationship and that leaves us with another perspective of the character and we understand that not only love is part of the film but also deception and other situations that come together to create something bigger than what we can see from the same plane.
WHAT IS THE MESSAGE?, It is clear that the film leaves a message and it is important to highlight this because it is something that is often left aside and is not given the importance it deserves, many films focus on showing action, suspense, drama, comedy, horror and endless emotions, some only serve to entertain and others to leave a deep thought to be discussed or shared among the community.
This movie leaves a very valuable message and teaches us not to let opportunities pass us by and to understand that we don't necessarily have to fight alone against our inner demons or difficult situations, we can always count on that person who leaves his world and problems by your side to give you that helping hand and show you that there will always be a way to smile again despite how difficult the road gets.
DO I RECOMMEND IT?, Of course it is, it is one of those that you must see in the company of someone and that will surely make you smile and cry at the same time, no matter if you are those with an iron heart or with little empathy at the end it will touch that sensitive fiber in you. Of course I must tell you that it is not a movie that will blow your mind and nothing like that, it is more than connecting with your emotional side and that maybe you have had to go through a similar situation which will bring those emotions back to the surface.
🇪🇸 Desde ese punto me encantó la película, pero debo confesar también que la interpretación de (Dakota Johnson) me enamoro ya que tenía mis dudas con respecto a su trabajo ya que en la película Wounds de la cual realicé hace poco una reseña me había dejado con un mal sabor de boca su interpretación.
Otra cosa que veo interesante en la película es la manera en como una situación ajena de la trama principal puede servir como puente para crear diferentes argumentos y la posibilidad de interactuar de manera simbólica con una historia diferente que se sujeta por sí solo sin la necesidad de restarle importancia a la trama principal, una escena que me gusto fue cuando Matthew lee un correo que le envía Nicole y descubre sin darse cuenta de algo que rompería cualquier relación y que no dejan con otra perspectiva del personaje y entendemos que no solo el amor es parte de la película sin también el engaño y otras situaciones que se unen para crear algo más grande de lo que podemos ver desde un mismo plano.
¿CUAL ES EL MENSAJE?, es claro que la película si o si deja un mensaje y es importante resaltar esto ya que es algo que a menudo se deja de lado y no se le da la importancia que merece, muchas películas se enfocan en mostrar acción, suspenso, drama, comedia, terror y un sinfín de emociones algunas solo sirven para entretener y otras para dejar un pensamiento profundo para que sea debatido o compartido entre la comunidad.
Esta película deja un mensaje muy valioso y nos enseña a no dejar pasar las oportunidades y entender que no necesariamente tenemos que luchar solos contra nuestros demonios internos o situaciones difíciles, siempre podemos contar con esa persona que dejar su mundo y problemas a tu lado para darte esa mano amiga y mostrarte que siempre existirá un camino para volver a sonreír pesar de lo difícil que se ponga el camino.
¿LA RECOMIENDO?, claro que sí, es de esas que debes ver en compañia d alguien y que de seguro te hará sonreír y llorar a la vez, no importa si eres esos de corazón de hierro o con poco empatía al final tocará esa fibra sensible en ti. Claro debo decirte que no es una película que te haga volar la cabeza y nada por el estilo es más que conectar con tu parte emocional y de que quizás hayas tenido que pasar por una situación parecida lo cual hará que esas emociones vuelvan a salir a la luz.

Some characters did not contribute anything to the story and there was little connection when they were on stage.
The length (2h 6m) was not long enough to develop the main characters a little more. In my personal opinion, I think that if they had added 30 minutes more they would have gotten a little more out of Dan's (Jason Segel) character, who I'm sure had much more to offer.
THE GOOD THING
An organic story with no filler and an inspiring message to share.
Good interpretation of his characters, able to convey emissions and being able to create a bond with each of them.
I am one of those viewers who easily connects with the emotions conveyed by movies and in some cases it is the resource I use to give my point of view on a movie that relies on broadcasts.

LO MALO
- Algunos personajes no aportan nada a la historia y se notaba la poca conexión al momento de salir en escena.
- La duración (2h 6m) no fue la suficiente para lograr desarrollar un poco más los personajes principales desde mi opinión personal creo que si le hubieran agregado unos 30 minutos más hubieran sacado un poco más de provecho a personaje de Dan (Jason Segel) que estoy seguro tenía mucho más que ofrecer.
LO BUENO
- Una historia orgánica, sin nada de relleno y un mensaje inspirador que compartir.
- Buena interpretación de sus personajes, capaces de transmitir emisiones y poder crear un lazo con cada uno de ellos.
Soy de esos espectadores que conecta fácilmente con las emociones que transmiten las películas y en algunos casos es el recurso que utilizo para dar mi punto de vista sobre una película que se apoye en las emisiones.

🇪🇸 Bueno CINÉFILO esperó que haya sido de su agrado mi pequeña reseña y nada espero leer sus comentarios, nos estamos leyendo.
Tienes una reseña bastante completa sobre este filme de Drama/Comedia, que nos adentra a una circunstancia bastante peculiar. Por lo que dices, la película toca temas fuertes, pero contrarrestados con la amistad como base de apoyo para digerir las circunstancias.
Si es un drama muy sencillo a nivel interpretativo y con una fácil forma de crear escenas que te expliquen con facilidad lo que la directora quiere expresar en el filme.
Me gustó más fue por el tema de la amistad y todo lo que rodea ese sentimiento que en lo particular hace ruido en mi vida.

Cuando recupere las ganas de ver algo la veré. Me gusta el elenco que tiene. y aprovecho de cambiar de genero. Quizás este desanimo que cargo encima es producto de las ultimas películas que he visto. Un peli sencilla pero con un mensaje inspirador siempre cae bien !
Si Man en ocasiones estar sumergido en lo negativo por así llamarlo solo atrae cosas mala y cargas pesadas hacia nuestro cuerpo.
Ve algunas películas de comedia eso siempre es bueno!
