I would not have known it was really Don Johnson who played the main HUMAN character. (the other one, of course, was the dog :)

I remember my Brutus.. a pekanese / beagal that I was really close to and would sing songs about him all the time.. :)
I really miss him, but I'm so glad I had him as a best friend when I was a boy. I can remember playing in the snow, in Ohio, and he would just follow me wherever I went..
This movie was entertaining for sure, but the latter part of the movie was pretty strange, as is often the case with movies of that time.. like too artsy and weird. :D still, I whole-heartedly recommend this one if you have the time to sit back and watch a story about some guy in the post apacolypse and his esp dog that can sniff out females! :P

I watched this as well recently and it was surprising to see Don Jonson in the role for sure. But we have to consider that he was likely just starting out in his career and was willing to take on whatever he could at the time.
uh huh. he was a whole different actor than the don johnson that I knew.. :P and thats for the recommendation.. I downloaded it after reading your post about it.
