Let's start with my what I thought was such a beautiful scene from the movie.. They are called wake angels.. they follow the spaceships in deep space and chase them.. (like dolphins chase boats/ride the wake). So nice, huh?
This one came out right at the turn of the century.. appropriate I think. The animation was top notch and blew me away.. and STILL looks awesome!
I like how they add 'layersl to it making it 3D, by having some things out of focus, and at different distances.
I thought the bad guys were really cool..
Some of the shots reminds so much of the animation I saw in some video games of the time.. like Dragon's Lair..
and Space Ace..
Just look at these shots from titan a.e. and tell me that's not just the same..
but then check out some of the other cool scenes..
and last thing that really impressed me now, that I didn't realize back when I first watched it, was the great cast it had.. it's so cool cuz I did recognize some of the voices now..
Hey, I think I should see this movie soon. I’m not sure if I ever seen that movie. I know where to find those video games. Those were groundbreaking video games.
hmmmmmmm.. i only ever seen those games in the arcades.. i guess u would need to get the actual full big arcade setup! :P yea.. for sure check out this one if u can..
