Episode 12 Review: 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort – Season 2
I just finished watching Episode 12 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, and let me tell you, this episode was absolutely wild. With one or maybe two more episodes left before the recommitment ceremonies, the pressure is really on for everyone.
Gino & Jasmine Drama
Right off the bat, Gino dropped a major bombshell. He admitted he’d originally planned to confess in therapy that he regretted lying about having a bachelor party the night before Jasmine arrived in America. He said that if he could go back, he’d skip the whole party—never even touch the dancers.
Jasmine thanked him for the confession, but you could tell she was disappointed that such a raw truth couldn’t be shared in a proper therapy session. And then it got even messier: it turns out Gino told Brandon he doesn’t even want to be intimate with Jasmine. Considering all the sacrifices Jasmine’s made (including getting surgery) to try and please him, it was absolutely heartbreaking.
Things got even more intense during a pre-dinner drink with his friend Florian. When Florian asked if Gino would die for Jasmine, Gino said yes—only for Florian to hit him with, “So you’d die for her but can’t be intimate with her?” Gino’s excuse?
He claimed that being intimate would only lead to fights the very next day, even insisting on a three-month period of no arguments before anything could happen. Seriously, how can anyone expect their marriage to survive on that logic?
Dinner Disaster with Stacey, Darcey & Florian
Dinner that night turned into a total train wreck. As soon as Darcey walked in, she was up to her usual antics. She tried to claim that Florian slid into her DMs first—but Stacey, who is married to Florian, quickly shut that down. Apparently, Florian had only liked a picture on Darcey’s Instagram, thinking that Stacey had two accounts.
After dinner, the tension really spiked. After storming off to her room, Stacey confronted her twin sister Darcey about why she told Florian he’d be better off single—a comment that really cut deep.
Darcey claimed she didn’t even remember saying it, but Florian confirmed every word. Then, Stacey also confronted Darcey about calling Florian at 3 a.m., and Darcey fired back with, “Don’t blame me for your marital problems,” which only fueled the fire further.
Stacey even accused Darcey of trying to come between her and Florian. It was tough to watch Stacey—usually so composed and confident—get so rattled by all this drama.
A Ray of Hope with Brandon & Julia
In the middle of all the chaos, Brandon and Julia provided a rare glimmer of hope. They announced that they’re going to air out every issue that’s been weighing on their marriage during the retreat—and then leave it all behind. Cheating is never easy to overcome, but if Brandon can truly forgive Julia, then maybe there’s a chance for a fresh start. Honestly, these two are at the top of my list for couples who might actually make it through the recommitment ceremonies.
Final Thoughts
Episode 12 was a rollercoaster of raw confessions, explosive arguments, and heart-wrenching moments. Gino’s refusal to really tackle his intimacy issues with Jasmine, mixed with the dinner disaster involving Darcey and the way Stacey was visibly shaken, leaves me wondering if these relationships can truly survive all this pressure. With the recommitment ceremonies looming in just one or two episodes, every couple is clearly walking on a tightrope.
What do you think? Can Gino and Jasmine mend their fractured bond, or is it too late? And will Florian be able to finally support Stacey, or is the drama with Darcey just too much? Drop your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear what you think!
