90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort – Season 1, Episode 13 Recap & Thoughts
Another episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort is in, and it did not disappoint. Some couples are making progress, some are falling apart, and some just seem stuck in a toxic cycle.
Ari & Bini Say Goodbye
We’ve all seen the writing on the wall for Ari and Bini, but watching them finally call it quits was actually pretty sad. The fact that they share a child made it even more emotional.
Bini admitted that he tried so hard for so long to make their marriage work for the sake of their son, but at this point, he realized that it would actually be better for their child if they separate.
Ari had her own moment of clarity, too—she realized that she needs to heal herself before she can be happy in any relationship. She’s spent so much time blaming Bini for everything, but therapy made her see that it wasn’t just him—she has a lot of inner work to do as well.
It was bittersweet to see them go.
Natalie Self-Sabotages (Again)
Meanwhile, Rob, Darcey, and Josh were getting in a workout together, having a drama-free moment... until Natalie popped up out of nowhere. Literally snuck up on them like she was eavesdropping.
She wasted no time turning the whole conversation into an attack on Josh—accusing him of body-shaming her, cheating, and lying.
At this point, Josh looks completely over it. He came on this retreat hoping to fix their relationship, but Natalie is destroying it every chance she gets. Instead of trying to reconnect, she came in swinging and completely killed the vibe.
It’s been three years and she still hasn’t met his kids or been to his house—and there’s a reason for that. Josh doesn’t trust her because she’s unpredictable, explosive, and loves to play the victim. Can you blame him?
Jasmine & The Open Marriage
Jasmine had a private counseling session with the sex therapist, and honestly? I felt for her. Nine months of rejection from her own husband has taken a serious toll on her self-esteem. Every time she tries to initiate intimacy, Gino shuts her down like she’s doing something wrong.
Then she brought up the idea of an open marriage. 😳
The therapist actually revealed that she and her husband have an open marriage and that it’s something that takes a lot of communication and work. Jasmine was shocked but also intrigued. The therapist encouraged her to bring it up with Gino before the recommitment ceremony.
But let’s be real—Gino will never go for it. He wants control, and right now, the only thing he has control over is intimacy. If Jasmine were to have the option of being with someone else, Gino would lose his power.
At the same time, Jasmine doesn’t really want an open marriage—she just wants to feel wanted by her own husband. He has left her feeling like her only options at this point is an open marriage or divorce.
Brandon & Julia’s Therapy Session Explodes
Brandon and Julia went into therapy smiling… and left in shambles.
Julia opened up about feeling like she’s competing with Brandon’s mom for his attention. She even asked him if he’d say, in front of his mom, that Julia is the most important person in his life—and Brandon couldn’t do it. He said he didn’t want to hurt his mother’s feelings.
Then came family therapy via FaceTime.
Julia vented that Brandon’s parents always take his side, never listen to her, and that she feels completely alone in their marriage. But let’s be honest—what did she expect? They’re his parents, he’s an only child, and of course they’re going to put him first. Instead of wanting to set boundaries with them, Julia just wants her own parents there so she can do the same thing Brandon does—run to them every time she’s upset. That’s not the solution.
Then, Julia dropped a bomb—she had secretly filed for her parents to come to the U.S. without telling Brandon.
He was shocked. For two months, she hid this from him. And the worst part? They had already been discussing this and Brandon had said they weren’t ready yet.
Brandon was so mad that he stormed out of therapy and told his parents that Julia cheated on him before they got married. 😳
At this point, I don’t know how much more Brandon can take. Julia walks all over him, and instead of respecting his feelings, she does whatever she wants and then plays the victim when he reacts.
Sneak Peek at Next Week’s Drama
Next week looks wild, and I’m here for it.
Jasmine brings up an open marriage to Gino, and he immediately shuts it down: “That’s cheating, and I don’t want a cheater in my life.” 😬
Josh actually puts in effort with Natalie (why tho??) and even kisses her in front of everyone—a huge deal since he’s always been against PDA.
Darcey tells Stacey that Florian left with two blonde women one night when he went partying with her, and Stacey confronts him about it. His reaction? Not looking good for him. 👀
At this point, I think Stacey & Florian might be the only couple making it to the recommitment ceremony. But honestly? Who knows?
One thing’s for sure—next week is gonna be messy.
Final Thoughts
This season has been a rollercoaster, and it looks like we’re finally heading toward the final episode before the ceremony.
Do you think any of these couples will make it? Or is this just one big disaster waiting to happen?
