The inspiring true story of the world's worst singer

The film highlights the aristocratic life of Florence Foster Jenkins, who lived in the period between the mid-19th century and the mid-20th century. She was widely known from the 1920s until her death as a musical icon due to her awful sheer voice! Yes, that was her title for being the worst opera singer in history. A title bestowed upon her by historian Stephen Bale.

Her voice was too bad to be curious to listen to. Even though she managed to build a wide base of fans, including celebrities, who defend and respect her, appreciating her courage.

Starring: Meryl Streep, Hugh Grant
Director: Stephen Frears

Nominated for 2 oscars:
Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role
Best Achievement in Costume Design

The truth is that I never liked the movies where Meryl Streep acted, but I particularly liked this one, well deserved her performance.

I watched some of her movies , one of my best movies for her is The Devil Wears Prada
