After some movies of DC's biggest heroes, the company decided it was up to Wonder Woman. Making a solo tape about the war most of all, leaving it in style.
In the film they tell us about the origins of Diana, princess of the Amazons. When she completes her training to become the strongest war of all she finds she is an American pilot, Steve Trevor. Who, after crashing his plane on the island, tells him about his enormous conflict that takes place in the First World War. Diana convinced that Ares is responsible for this Great War, decides to accompany the soldier to end all wars.
The setting of the film is very well done, which helps to create a more truthful atmosphere about the facts, it also adds a lot of depth and drama to the scenes. The 141 minutes that the film lasts helps to present a character and be able to develop it in a well accomplished way.
In this way, the director takes credit for an almost perfect direction. Wonder Woman keeps you constantly attentive to everything that happens on screen, letting you rest when necessary and with some really impressive action scenes. That's not counting the special effects, which are very well implemented.
Of course, this would not be possible without its protagonists. And it is that Gal Gadot is one of those few people who are born to play a character on the big screen; The character's feelings, sympathy, and enormous heart gave DC what it so badly needs, not to make such a grim movie. Chris Pine, like Steve Trevor does a good job and may be one of his best performances.
Another of the strongest points is the soundtrack. It is one of the best in the entire DC Cinematographic Uniceles. The use of magnificent CGI accompanies the action scenes making them truly memorable, all that included in a setting where the most that stands out is the armor of our heroine who will use her protection to exhaustion.
Wonder Woman is the clear example of the path that DC must follow, doing a good character development and keeping a rhythm that keeps you up to date with everything that is going to happen. And of course having good effects and a soundtrack. This production is added to the list of movies that any lover of DC or Marvel stories should see.
I saw this a while ago and thought it was pretty good. I haven't seen the most recent one but most of what I have read about it has been not so positive.
