I finished Mr. Robot recently. Elliot Anderson, played by Rami Malik is an exceptionally talented computer programmer and having a mental illness. This mental illness indulges him into heavy drug use and also indulges him with some of the bad minds of the world. Rami Malik has played this character exceptionally good.
There is a moment in series where Elliot gets frustrated from his life and speaks to himself, "It's always been somewhat lonely, sometimes without people and sometimes with them too. It's lonely to get to see a doctor alone, it's alone to see a great movie alone or read a great book and have no one to talk about it, it's lonely to be in middle of a party and zoning out in middle of conversations because all of it feels so superficial, not being able to share food feels lonely too, it's lonely to get back to a diary because no one else can get it, it's lonely to feel soo much, all of it alone, it's lonely to get wake up without a blanket over you, not being able to share music feels lonely, filling in gaps with words in a conversation feels terribly lonely, loneliness has somewhat always been around, just took a while to start seeing it Via"
