¿Qué sucede cuando la filosofía, la cultura y la inspiración hacia uno de los más grandes y famosos estudios de animación se juntan? De ahí, nace una hermosa creación.
What happens when philosophy, culture and inspiration for one of the biggest and most famous animation studios come together? From that, a beautiful creation is born.
Hace un buen tiempo me dispuse a ver un filme que llamó mi atención pues, había gente que decía que tenía cierto aire a las películas de Studio Ghibli, me pareció bastante curioso, no tenía idea de qué trataba en sí ni nada, pero me llevé una grata sorpresa al terminarlo. Es por ello que decidí hacer una pequeña reseña sobre esta película animada.
A long time ago I went to see a film that caught my attention because some people said that it had a certain air of Studio Ghibli films, I found it quite curious, I had no idea what it was about or anything, but I was pleasantly surprised when I finished it. That's why I decided to make a small review about this animated film.
HAYAO MIYAZAKI INFLUENCE AND CHINESE CULTURE?
Si bien Hayao Miyazaki me atrevería a decir con total certeza que es, mundialmente conocido, este japonés se ha caracterizado por ser uno de los mayores animadores que han existido y que existen, mismo que ha trabajado en grandes películas animadas japonesas como lo son "El viaje de Chihiro" o "Mi vecino Totoro", dos de sus películas más famosas. Sirviendo así de gran inspiración para muchos distintos otros filmes realizados por distintos productores.
Although Hayao Miyazaki I would dare to say with total certainty that he is known worldwide, this Japanese has been characterized for being one of the greatest animators that have existed and that exist, who has worked in great Japanese animated films such as "Spirited Away" or "My Neighbor Totoro", two of his most famous films. Thus serving as a great inspiration for many different films made by different producers.
Hayao MiyazakiAhora, tal audacia de Liang Xuan y Zhang Chun llevándoles a la creación de un filme animado que se ve ambientado en China, abarcando distintos aspectos de la cultura de esa misma región occidental, estos personajes se aventuraron a realizar una obra que realmente llega a la altura de las películas de Miyazaki, quien realmente habrá sido de gran inspiración para esta animación.
Now, such audacity of Liang Xuan and Zhang Chun leading them to the creation of an animated film that is set in China, covering different aspects of the culture of that same western region, these characters ventured to make a work that really reaches the height of the films of Miyazaki, who really will have been of great inspiration for this animation.

Una increíble manera de plasmar relatos filosóficos dentro de una historia narrativa animada. No cabe duda que es una de las más magníficas combinaciones, si bien Big Fish y Begonia es una película animada, que generalmente iría dirigida a un público infantil, tiene ciertos componentes que hacen de ella, un filme lleno de enseñanzas realmente valiosas. Con un dibujo excepcional que no lo asemeja tan característicamente con el estilo de occidente, y una animación que a mi parecer ha sido sumamente preciosa, dándose a resaltar en muchas distintas escenas.
An incredible way of capturing philosophical tales within an animated narrative story. There is no doubt that it is one of the most magnificent combinations, although Big Fish and Begonia is an animated film, which would generally be aimed at a child audience, it has certain components that make it a film full of really valuable teachings. With an exceptional drawing that does not resemble so characteristically with the western style, and an animation that in my opinion has been extremely beautiful, giving to highlight in many different scenes.

En donde el mar de la tierra es el cielo en aquel lugar fantástico lleno de criaturas míticas, donde aquel mundo tiene semejanzas con el nuestro, el crecer y aprender de la vida.
Reflecting life itself as an ocean, reflecting in it the way in which we leave the human world, the current taking our soul and making it part of the marine world. Where the sea of the earth is the sky in that fantastic place full of mythical creatures, where that world has similarities with ours, growing and learning from life.

He de recordar que no tenía ni la más mínima idea de qué trataba la película cuando decidí verla, pero aquella decisión fue una de las mejores decisiones que pude tomar, no me arrepiento, una fábula bastante hermosa con un significado gigante plasmado dentro de una animación. I have to remind that I had no idea what the movie was about when I decided to watch it, but that decision was one of the best decisions I could make, I don't regret it, a beautiful fable with a giant meaning captured in an animation.
