Ya hace un tiempo no publico nada dentro de esta comunidad, así que decidí preparar un nuevo post para compartirlo con ustedes.
Seguramente muchos aquí tengan sus series favoritas o hayan visto series geniales que les encantaron durante su infancia, más bien en sí, caricaturas o series animadas.
El día de hoy quise hacer una compilación a manera de recomendación de mis 5 series animadas favoritas, por quiénes fueron creadas, detalles sobre ellas, de qué tratan, y muchas razones por las cuales deberían darles una oportunidad y verlas. Así que sin más que agregar ¡Empecemos!
It's been a while since I've posted anything in this community, so I decided to prepare a new post to share with you.
I'm sure many of you here have your favorite series or have seen great series that you loved during your childhood, or rather, cartoons or animated series.
Today I wanted to make a compilation by way of recommendation of my 5 favorite animated series, by whom they were created, details about them, what they are about, and many reasons why you should give them a chance and watch them. So without further ado, let's get started!
1- OVER THE GARDEN WALL.
Más allá del Jardín es una serie, o más bien mini-serie puesto a que solo tiene 10 episodios y la duración de cada uno están en su mayoría en los 11 minutos. La serie trata acerca de dos hermanos, Wirt y Greg quienes se embarcan en una aventura en tiempos de halloween sin ser planeada, puesto a que se pierden en un bosque y terminan adentrándose más hacia lo desconocido, encontrándose en su camino criaturas surrealistas que podrán ser de bien para ellos, pero a su vez otras que pondrán en peligro a los hermanos y su camino para poder hallar la manera de salir de lo desconocido.
Over the garden wall is a series, or rather mini-series since it only has 10 episodes and the length of each episode is mostly around 11 minutes. The series is about two brothers, Wirt and Greg who embark on an unplanned Halloween adventure, as they get lost in a forest and end up going deeper into the unknown, encountering on their way surreal creatures that may be good for them, but also others that will endanger the brothers and their way to find their way out of the unknown.

Esta serie llevaba muchísimo tiempo desarrollándose en espera de que alguien le diera la oportunidad para transmitirla al aire, fue creada por Patrick McHale y gracias a la cadena televisiva Cartoon Network, la serie fue lanzada en el año 2014.
This series had been in development for a long time waiting for someone to give it a chance to air, it was created by Patrick McHale and thanks to the Cartoon Network, the series was launched in 2014.
FuenteEn lo personal, tengo esta mini-serie en un pedestal, es la mejor serie que he visto, tiene tantos factores que influyen en su reputación como serie. La trama es espectacular, el desarrollo de cada personaje también lo es, la serie en sí es muchísimo más densa, pues hace referencia a la literatura de Dante. La animación y el dibujo son otras de las razones por las cuales esta serie es mi favorita, es simplemente satisfactorio, lo sombrío y peculiar le da un toque interesante, así como las características de los personajes y los paisajes. Y para culminar, el soundtrack de esta serie también es fenomenal, pues afortunadamente esta mini-serie también cuenta con distintos temas musicales en sus capítulos, cosa que de verdad me encanta porque le agrega muchísima diversión a la historia. Aunque, de igual forma, más allá del jardín tiene una trama más complicada de entender, con muchísimas teorías que los fans han podido especular.
Personally, I have this mini-series on a pedestal, it is the best series I have seen, it has so many factors that influence its reputation as a series. The plot is spectacular, the development of each character is also spectacular, the series itself is much, much denser, as it references Dante's literature. The animation and drawing are other reasons why this series is my favorite, it is simply satisfying, the somber and peculiar gives it an interesting touch, as well as the characteristics of the characters and landscapes. And to top it off, the soundtrack of this series is also phenomenal, because fortunately this mini-series also has different musical themes in its chapters, which I really love because it adds a lot of fun to the story. Although, in the same way, Beyond the Garden has a more complicated plot to understand, with many theories that fans have been able to speculate.
2- THE MARVELOUS MISADVENTURES OF FLAPJACK.
Otra serie que pude ver en Cartoon Network durante mi infancia, data acerca de las divertidas aventuras por las cuales transcurre Flapjack, un niño que es a su vez criado por una ballena capaz de hablar, cuyo nombre es Bubbie, quienes un día rescataron a un pirata llamado Capitán Nudillos, el cual pronto se convirtió en el compañero de aventuras del niño, a quien le platicó acerca de un lugar llamado Isla Caramelo, formada de solo dulces, haciendo que el instinto pirata de Flapjack despierte y quiera ir en busca de la majestuosa Isla Caramelo y así conseguir su título de "aventurero". Con muchísimos personajes de características extrañas o peculiares, estos tres mantienen la mayor parte de su estadía en la Bahía Tormentosa.
Another series that I could watch on Cartoon Network during my childhood, dates about the funny adventures of Flapjack, a boy who is raised by a whale able to talk, whose name is Bubbie, who one day rescued a pirate named Captain K'nuckles, who soon became the boy's adventure companion, telling him about a place called Candied Island , made up of nothing but candy, making Flapjack's pirate instinct awaken and he wants to go in search of the majestic Candied Island and thus get his title of "adventurer". With many, many characters with strange or peculiar characteristics, these three spend most of their stay in the Stormalong Harbor.

Esta serie, a pesar de ir dirigida hacia un público infantil, contiene un diseño bizarro y distinto a lo que se espera ver en una caricatura para niños. Pero a mí personalmente, me encanta. El dibujo me parecía genial y la paleta de colores del mismo fue muy bien electa, la trama también me pareció totalmente divertida y entretenida, algo que en verdad llegué a disfrutar durante mi niñez.
This series, despite being aimed at a children's audience, contains a bizarre design and different from what you would expect to see in a cartoon for children. But I personally love it. I thought the drawing was great and the color palette was very well chosen, the plot also seemed to me totally funny and entertaining, something I really enjoyed during my childhood.
3- SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS.
¿Quién no es conocedor de esta caricatura? Nos ha acompañado a muchos durante nuestras infancias y ha formado parte de nuestros recuerdos en gran cantidad.
Bob Esponja, una esponja que vive en el fondo del mar, en su peculiar casa en forma de piña, ubicada en el Fondo de Bikini. Esta serie se basa en las aventuras por las que pasan los distintos personajes de la misma, más en sí, Bob y su mejor amigo Patricio, una estrella de mar rosada y con pantalones. Con muchos episodios realmente cómicos, y otros hasta conmovedores, esta serie se ha ganado el corazón de muchos quienes la llegaron a ver.
Who is not familiar with this cartoon? It has accompanied many of us during our childhood and has been part of our memories in great quantity.
SpongeBob, a sponge that lives at the bottom of the sea, in his peculiar pineapple-shaped house, located in Bikini Bottom. This series is based on the adventures that the different characters in the series go through, more to the point, Bob and his best friend Patrick, a pink starfish with pants. With many really funny episodes, and others even touching, this series has won the hearts of many who got to see it.

No tengo mucho qué decir sobre esta serie, es simplemente mi infancia y me encanta, podría pasar mucho rato escuchando las canciones que han formado parte de esta maravillosa caricatura.
I don't have much to say about this series, it is simply my childhood and I love it, I could spend a lot of time listening to the songs that have been part of this wonderful cartoon.
4- STEVEN UNIVERSE.
Trata acerca de Steven, un niño que es aparte de mitad humano, mitad gema, siendo aquello heredado por parte de su difunta madre. Steven tiene como destido el pertenecer al grupo o equipo de seres mágicos quienes resguardan a la humanidad, este llamado "Las Gemas de Cristal". Steven durante la trama irá aprendiendo a manejar los poderes mágicos que le fueron otorgados y son gracias a la gema que tiene en su ombligo. En esta serie, Steven acompañará a las Gemas de Cristal en sus mágicas aventuras, para así poder hallar la forma de salvar el día.
It is about Steven, a boy who is half human, half gem, being that inherited from his deceased mother. Steven has the desire to belong to a group or team of magical beings who protect humanity, called "The Crystal Gems". Steven during the plot will learn to handle the magical powers that were granted to him and are thanks to the gem in his navel. In this series, Steven will accompany the Crystal Gems in their magical adventures, in order to find a way to save the day.

Esta serie fue creada por la increíble animadora de origen estadounidense, Rebecca Sugar. Quien a su vez se le es conocida por ser la primera mujer en dirigir una serie animada en la compañía de Cartoon Network, y vaya serie creó.
This series was created by the incredible animator of American origin, Rebecca Sugar. Who in turn is known for being the first woman to direct an animated series in the Cartoon Network company, and what a series she created.

La animación, los colores, los personajes, la trama y las canciones, todo en esta serie es realmente sublime y hermoso, todo lo que la compone es realmente bonito. Amé ver el desarrollo que tuvo el personaje de Steven, y también el de los otros. Aprecié mucho las distintas enseñanzas que esta caricatura impartió a los televidentes y al público infantil a su vez. Es una serie realmente hermosa en muchísimos aspectos y llena de magia y fantasía.
The animation, the colors, the characters, the plot and the songs, everything in this series is really sublime and beautiful, everything about it is really nice. I loved seeing the development that Steven's character had, and also the development of the others. I really appreciated the different teachings that this cartoon imparted to the viewers and to the children audience in turn. It is a really beautiful series in many aspects and full of magic and fantasy.
5- REGULAR SHOW.
Es una serie de animación del género de comedia, que trata acerca de un azulejo y un mapache llamados Mordecai y Rigby, quienes a su vez trabajan cuidando un parque. Y aunque si bien, las actitudes de responsabilidad de Mordecai con respecto a su trabajo, Rigby siempre termina convenciendo a su amigo para tomar tiempos en los cuales divertirse y adentrarse en distintas situaciones divertidas. Esta serie fue creada por J. G. Quintel, y tuvo un tiempo de transmisión entre 2009 y 2017, con un total de 261 episodios, divididos en 8 temporadas.

El diseño de esta serie es genial, es muy raro y a mí me encantan las cosas raras, al igual que el diseño de personajes y las características de cada uno de ellos. Cada capítulo me llegaba a sorprender cada vez más, tengo recuerdos buenos de esta caricatura, y aún siendo una serie cómica, fue capaz de dejar muchas enseñanzas y de marcar a más de uno con las ocurrencias de los personajes, en cada episodio.
The design of this series is great, it is very weird and I love weird things, as well as the design of characters and the characteristics of each of them. Each episode surprised me more and more, I have good memories of this cartoon, and even being a comic series, it was able to leave many teachings and to mark more than one with the occurrences of the characters in each episode.
Y este fue mi post acerca de mis 5 series animadas favoritas, que a su vez también está a manera de recomendación. Las caricaturas han formado parte de la infancia y hasta incluso, vida adolescente y adulta de la gran mayoría de la población. Es por ello que quise hacer este post recordando así las series que más me han llegado a gustar, aunque realmente quise poner muchas más dentro del top, solo que no quise hacer una publicación tan extensa.

And this was my post about my 5 favorite animated series, which in turn is also by way of recommendation. Cartoons have been part of childhood and even teenage and adult life of the vast majority of the population. That is why I wanted to make this post remembering the series that I have come to like the most, although I really wanted to put many more in the top, I just did not want to make such an extensive publication.

Bob Esponja fue una parte crucial de mi infancia, me da muchísima nostalgia pensar en sus primeras temporadas.
También le tengo muchas ganas a Over The Garden Wall, me llama muchísimo la atención su estilo visual y que sea una serie limitada.
Among the ones you mention the only one I saw was Sponge Bob and I loved it. I believe most people like Sponge Bob due to his innocence and cute nature. His best friend Patrick was also a cool character. It has been more than 10 years, and probably even more than 15 years since the last time I watched this show but I always remember it fondly.
