Hi @genesishealthy ! Nice review! I am a huge fan of the Star Wars saga, and I am not even one of those guys that hated the sequel trilogy despite its inconsistencies and the very weak plot of the last film. Nevertheless, I think they made some huge mistakes with Kenobi, that negatively affects my overall enjoyment of the original trilogy as well. Darth Vader appears far less intimidating compared to the original films and to Rogue One, and his clashes with Kenobi always end in very cheap and anticlimatic ways. Without going into spoilers, I think the ending of episode 6 of the series leaves on Kenobi a lot of responsabilities for what will happen in the future. In addition to this, they also developed a strong bond between Leia and Obi Wan that is completely absent in Episode 4.
The character of Reeva is also quite pointless, with a confused character arc and a predictable conclusion.
In conclusion, while the sequel trilogy was set far in the future compared to the other films, here they affected negatively the lore of the original trilogy, which in my opinion is quite of a crime 😂.
I hope for the best for the upcoming Andor series, but for Kenobi my rating is pretty low.
