Tick, Tick... Boom! is an ode to young adults that despite everything they want to achieve something in life and still have not achieved it, feeling great pressure, this film is very personal, that captivated me, because going with low expectations, since it was a musical and I do not much consume them I still managed to fascinate me, its key point and what I wanted is to reflect a person who wanted to leave a mark on the world. As they have instilled in most of us that seeing how the protagonist is we discover that he is a person just like us and that everything that happens in the film can happen to us, such as losing friendships by death at an early age, losing acquaintances, relatives and that we have to face that pain while we move forward.

Boom! una oda a los adultos jóvenes que a pesar de todo quieren lograr algo en la vida y aún no lo han logrado, sintiendo una gran presión, esta película es muy personal, que me cautivo, ya que yendo con expectativas bajas, ya que era un musical y no soy de consumirlos mucho igual me logro fascinar, su punto clave y lo que quería es reflejar de una persona que quería dejar una huella en el mundo. Como nos han inculcado a la mayoría que viendo como es el protagonista descubrimos que es una persona igual que nosotros y que todo lo que ocurre en la película nos puede ocurrir, como lo de perder amistades por la muerte a temprana edad, perder conocidos, familiares y que tenemos que enfrentar ese dolor mientras seguimos adelante.
Having that constant pressure to become something accumulates with not knowing how to calculate your time to share it with those people important to you, as you focus on reaching the goals you set for yourself, there comes a point in the film that makes you think about what decisions you will make, in that dilemma that the protagonist has. Knowing that you have to make good decisions and know how to plan so that everything is given to you without hurting other people you care about along the way. In short, we have to respond to life as best we can.
El tener esa presión constante de llegar a ser algo se acumula con no saber calcular tu tiempo para repartirlo con esas personas importantes para ti, ya que te enfocas en llegar a las metas que te planteas, llega un punto en la película que te hace pensar en que decisiones tomaras tú, en ese dilema que tiene el protagonista. El saber que tienes que tomar buenas decisiones y saber planificarte para que todo se te dé sin lastimar a otras personas que te importan en el camino. En fin tenemos que responder a la vida como podamos.
Now let's break down the plot of the film, the protagonist is a playwright aspiring to succeed in the theater, but he suffers from a quarter-life crisis, he is approaching 30 years of age and has not achieved his main objective or goal, which can also give you that crisis today much earlier to 20 years if you have parents who have achieved much, plus young people who achieve many goals at a very young age you can get to feel inhibited by the pressure of the same family and society around you.
Ahora desglosemos el argumento la película el protagonista es un dramaturgo aspirante al éxito en el teatro, pero él sufre de una crisis de cuarto de vida, se acerca a sus 30 años de edad y no ha logrado su objetivo principal o su meta, que de igual manera te puede dar esa crisis en la actualidad mucho más temprano hasta en los 20 años si tienes padres que han logrado mucho, más los jóvenes que logran muchas metas a muy poca edad puedes llegarte a sentir cohibido por la presión de la misma familia y la sociedad que te rodea.
Seeing Jhonatan Larson be as human as any of us we can develop empathy with him, because with a plot that despite everything is simple values what has been instilled in many of us that we have to be someone in life. For example, I am a college graduate and a professor, however, I still have many goals to achieve, I feel the pressure to leave a mark on the world as do some of you.
Al ver a Jhonatan Larson ser tan humano como cualquiera de nosotros podemos desarrollar una empatía con él, ya que con una trama que a pesar de todo es sencilla valoriza lo que se nos ha inculcado a muchos de que tenemos que ser alguien en la vida. Por ejemplo yo soy graduado de la universidad y soy profesor, sin embargo, igual me quedan muchas metas que cumplir, siento la presión de dejar una huella en el mundo al igual que alguno de ustedes.
Moving on to the songs, there is a good integration with both the lyrics and the story, taking it to another level, you can feel each song perfectly crafted for the film, to my ears it was a delight to listen to them, see the choreography and see how the rhythm of the film was the right one.
Pasando a las canciones se nota una buena integración tanto con las letras como con la historia llevándola a otro nivel, puedes sentir cada canción perfectamente elaborada para la película para mis oídos fue un deleite al escucharlas, ver las coreografías y ver como el ritmo de la película era el indicado.
In conclusion for me, it is a movie that touches you very much if you have experienced any of the events that happen to the protagonist of this story.
En conclusión para mí es una película que te llega mucho si has experimentado alguna de los sucesos que le suceden al protagonista de esta historia.
