¡Hola amigos! El otro día vi una publicación por acá que hablaba de una película que me dio ganas de ver y así lo hice. Así que hoy les vengo a compartir mi opinión acerca de Algo embarazada.
Hello friends! The other day I saw a post here that talked about a movie that made me want to see and so I did. So today I'm here to share my opinion about Kinda Pregnant.

La historia sigue a dos mejores amigas de toda la vida, Lainy y Kate. Lainy siempre soñó con quedar embarazada y formar una familia, al contrario de Kate, pero a sus 40 años todavía no sucedió y la relación con su pareja llegó a su fin. Así que ahora debe lidiar con la realidad de su presente y su corazón rotó. En medio de todo esto Kate se queda embarazada y empiezan los celos por parte de Lainy. Tampoco entiende porqué Kate parece alejarse de ella y preferir juntarse con otra embarazada. Así que Lainy finge estar embarazada para participar de una clase de yoga y conocer a otras mujeres en gestación, allí termina haciéndose amiga de una de ellas y la mentira del falso embarazo comienza a hacerse una bola difícil de parar.
The story follows two lifelong best friends, Lainy and Kate. Lainy always dreamed of getting pregnant and starting a family, unlike Kate, but at 40 years old it still hasn't happened and her relationship with her partner came to an end. So now she must deal with the reality of her present and her broken heart. In the midst of all this Kate becomes pregnant and jealousy begins on Lainy's part. She also doesn't understand why Kate seems to stay away from her and prefers to get together with another pregnant woman. So Lainy pretends to be pregnant to participate in a yoga class and meet other pregnant women, there she ends up becoming friends with one of them and the lie of the false pregnancy starts to become a ball difficult to stop.

Una película de comedia bastante excéntrica, muy divertida que puede rayar lo ridículo por momentos, pero con un mensaje de fondo que es el de no romantizar la maternidad. Me resultó interesante el foco que le dieron porque es una historia que te cuenta el lado feo de la gestación, ya que es un proceso que te cambia por completo, tanto a nivel físico como emocional y quizá no se habla tanto de esto.
A rather eccentric comedy film, very funny and bordering on the ridiculous at times, but with an underlying message that is not to romanticize motherhood. I found the focus interesting because it is a story that tells you the ugly side of pregnancy, as it is a process that changes you completely, both physically and emotionally, and perhaps this is not talked about so much.
Sin dudas, la maternidad es un milagro y trae muchas cosas buenas a la vida, pero también puede ser muy duro de atravesar y a algunas mujeres les afecta más que a otras. Por el momento no soy madre, así que no puedo hablar mucho sobre el tema, todo lo que sé es de experiencias ajenas a mí, pero puedo asociar varios comportamientos que vi en embarazadas de mi entorno con los que muestran en la película. Así que no está tan alejada de la realidad.
Undoubtedly, motherhood is a miracle and brings many good things to life, but it can also be very hard to go through and some women are affected more than others. At the moment I am not a mother, so I can't talk much about the subject, everything I know is from my own experiences, but I can associate several behaviors I saw in pregnant women around me with those shown in the film. So it is not so far from reality.

Ahora bien, la película es ideal para divertirse un rato y pasarla bien viéndola, aunque puede volverse absurda en más de un sentido y dar vergüenza ajena. Las risas no van a faltar. La historia me pareció de locos, pero me gustó haberla visto. A todo esto, también hay una historia de amor que se empieza a tejer entre mentiras y al final termina por explotar, pero como toda comedia romántica hacia el cierre todo se acomoda en su sitio.
However, the film is ideal to have fun and have a good time watching it, although it can become absurd in more than one way and embarrassing. The laughs won't be lacking. The story seemed crazy to me, but I enjoyed watching it. There is also a love story that begins to weave between lies and ends up exploding in the end, but like all romantic comedies, everything falls into place towards the end.
Si hablamos del final, me hubiera gustado que fuera más cerrado y no tan abierto. Quizá que sucediera algún salto en el tiempo y nos mostraran la vida de Lainy en el futuro porque soy curiosa y me gustaría saber qué sucedió con todo. Pero bueno, en líneas generales fue una película divertida acerca de la maternidad.
If we talk about the ending, I would have liked it to be more closed and not so open. Maybe some time jump would have happened and they would have shown us Lainy's life in the future because I'm curious and I would like to know what happened with everything. But well, overall it was a fun movie about motherhood.

Hace poco la vi y me encantó, aunque es cierto que tiene un humor un tanto... raro. Y el final abierto, estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo, es más estaba esperando a que Lainy hubiese quedado embarazada en su primer "encuentro" con Josh y se enterara luego de que volvieran.
Eso quedo librado a la imaginación, fue un final digno de la película, pero me hubiera gustado algo más. Me reí bastante, eso sí. Muchas gracias por pasarte a leer y comentar 😊
Es divertida, por alguna razón me gustan las películas con esta actriz y nunca he tenido la curiosidad de saber ni como se llama, pero me gustan jajaja.
La película da pena ajena por momentos. Y lo que más me gustó es como presentan la maternidad, de verdad que aunque hay momentos buenos de felicidad también están aquellos en los que provoca quitarse la barriga 🤭 te llegará tu turno y tu experiencia hablará por ti.
