This movie was extremely interesting for me because having Bryan Cranston as the main protagonist I thought it was going to be a Breaking Bad style movie where the man managed to beat the system and through a lottery mistake he generated millions but he got into trouble because others wanted that money and he had to use all his skills to prevent them from taking it away from him.
And although that was a good plot, the truth is that the plot of this movie is quite peaceful, calm and relaxing. It is also a plot that teaches you something it is not an action movie but a thought provoking movie. Since the secondary or third important plot that develops is in regards to Jerry and the relationship he has with his son, where his son feels abandoned by his father because of his love for mathematics.
Another thing that I find interesting that I commented on in the introduction to this post is that this is a movie based on a true story. And although of course some details were changed to make the story sell more, much of what was said is true, for example that Jerry and Marge were looking for new emotions in their lives and the lottery was one of them. It also makes you feel as if this could actually happen to you, even though it is very unlikely since lottery systems are always formulated for people to lose.

Esta película me resultó sumamente interesante porque al tener a Bryan Cranston como protagonista pensé que iba a ser una película al estilo Breaking Bad donde el hombre lograba ganarle al sistema y por un error en la lotería generaba millones pero se metía en problemas porque otros querían ese dinero y él tenía que usar todas sus habilidades para evitar que se lo quitaran.
Y aunque esa era una buena trama, la verdad es que la trama de esta película es bastante tranquila, sosegada y relajante. Además es una trama que te enseña algo no es una película de acción sino de reflexión. Ya que la trama secundaria o tercera importante que se desarrolla es con respecto a Jerry y la relación que tiene con su hijo, donde su hijo se siente abandonado por su padre debido a su amor por las matemáticas.
Otra cosa que me parece interesante y que comenté en la introducción de este post es que se trata de una película basada en una historia real. Y aunque por supuesto se cambiaron algunos detalles para que la historia vendiera más, mucho de lo que se contó es cierto, por ejemplo que Jerry y Marge buscaban nuevas emociones en sus vidas y la lotería era una de ellas. También te hace sentir como si esto pudiera pasarte a ti, aunque es muy poco probable, ya que los sistemas de lotería siempre están formulados para que la gente pierda.

Me gustan las películas inspiradoras y siempre es bueno que se tenga en cuenta a la tercera edad, ya que cuando uno llega a esa edad puede sentir como si no tuviera nada más que hacer, pero no es así.
