Buscando información me he topado con unas críticas devastadoras, diría que no se salva ni una, y choca con la percepción que me ha merecido en lo personal. ¿Cinematográficamente? Pues me importa una mixxxx, ¿jugar con la manipulación emocional? Muchas películas lo hacen; psicológicamente aparecen ideas, conceptos o la forma en sí de la película que han llamado mi atención.
Looking for information I have come across some devastating reviews, I would say that not a single one is saved, and it clashes with the perception that I have deserved personally. Cinematographically? Well, I don't give a mixxxx, playing with emotional manipulation? Many films do; psychologically there are ideas, concepts or the form of the film itself that have caught my attention.
He escogido esta película por el momento en que me encuentro. Al leer el título en inglés (Collateral Beauty), percibí todavía mas el juego que siendo en español: Belleza oculta. Como cuando me encuentro obcecado en la percepción de un lado de la realidad, una realidad en dirección al desastre interno, el dolor o el sufrimiento sin los deseos de salir. ‘Collateral’, el otro lado. Recordar esto es algo valioso para mi.
I have chosen this film because of the moment in which I find myself. When I read the title in English (Collateral Beauty), I perceived even more the game that being in Spanish: Belleza oculta. As when I find myself obsessed in the perception of one side of reality, a reality in the direction of internal disaster, pain or suffering without the desire to leave. 'Collateral', the other side. Remembering this is something valuable to me.
(SPOILER) Ha sido la forma de la película la que ha llamado mas mi atención. Ha resultado en conjunto, como el dialogo interno de una persona. Aparecen preguntas desde el lado del sufrimiento; los debates, discusiones y confrontación con partes internas en conflicto. El desarrollo racional de comprensión de la realidad, de conceptos o abstracciones de la realidad subjetiva. El teatro de la vida ¿lo habíais escuchado en alguna ocasión? También utiliza ese recurso.

En Terapia Gestalt, utilizamos un recurso llamado la ‘Dramatización’. Actuamos como personajes que pueden desvelar sentimientos o emociones internas no reconocidas. Es un trabajo muy potente para la conciencia.

(SPOILER) ‘La muerte, el tiempo y el amor.’ Son conceptos que se dejan de lado. ¿Hablamos de suicidio con normalidad? ¿Hablamos de las condiciones u horarios laborales? ¿Hablamos con normalidad acerca del amor? O la realidad es que en muchos casos prejuzgamos como ‘eso no’, ‘es lo que hay’, ‘es ñoño’. En la película puede resultar manipulador, pero ¿os habéis preguntado cuántas personas piensan acerca de esto?

Antiguamente, los sabios utilizaban cuentos, alegorías, metáforas entre otros para transmitir conocimiento, despertar en la persona aquello que la persona esté dispuesta a ver. En la actualidad, los recursos son los 15 segundos de vídeo, una imagen, un ¿haiku?, un texto hiperconcentrado o el formato audio. Las películas son otros de los actuales recursos de los que podemos aprender, como los libros o como unas cervezas con un buen amigo.
In the past, sages used stories, allegories, metaphors and others to transmit knowledge, to awaken in the person what the person is willing to see. (SPOILER) Es interesante poder ver reflejado como el mundo externo en muchas ocasiones, en su intento de ayudar, rescatar, no son conscientes de lo que ellos mismos no ven, de lo que necesitan transitar.

El ser humano se contagia, moviliza aspectos en otras personas; no ven o ven pero niegan… y como confrontaran la realidad de otro, manipularan, influenciaran… sin darse cuenta que hay mas de su historia que no de la propia. Igual que un niño deposita su amor propio en las figuras de autoridad (como sus padres), una persona con baja autoestima, desconfiada, insegura… deposita su amor propio en personas de carácter, seguras decididas para encontrar apoyo.

Soy la razón de todo, ¡el único porque! No intentes vivir sin mi…’ Lo cierto, es que quiero recordarlo, para cuando me pierdo o cuando caigo. Aun qué no lo entienda bien, lo siento como mi camino, el camino del amor.
(SPOILER) I want to end with a phrase that quotes love to the main character: 'I can be a home [...] I am in all things, I am the darkness and the light, the sun and the storm.[...] Yes, I was in your laughter, but I am also here now, in your pain. I am the reason for everything, the only because! Don't try to live without me...' The truth is, I want to remember it, for when I get lost or when I fall. Even if I don't understand it well, I feel it as my way, the way of love.
