Hello Hive community, yesterday I decided to take a short break from work and routine and order some food to have a movie night with my girlfriend, I let her choose what to see and I must say that she chose very well, at first I did not expect a lot but the movie turned out to be very entertaining. Today I'm giving you a little summary without revealing much of the plot so I don't ruin it for you.
Hola comunidad de Hive, ayer decidí hacer una pequeña pausa del trabajo y la rutina y ordenar algo de comida para tener una noche de películas junto a mi novia, deje que ella escogiera que ver y debo decir que escogió muy bien, al principio no esperaba mucho pero la película resulto ser muy entretenida. Hoy les doy un pequeño resumen sin revelar mucho de la trama así no se las arruino.
The plot is simple, a group of couples who are long-time friends meet for dinner and hang out, here we see the clichés of a lifetime, the newly married couple who are super affectionate, the couples with more years of marriage more disenchanted . Eva, Alfonso, Antonio, Ana, Eduardo and Blanca are waiting because that day they would meet Pepe's new girlfriend, he arrives with the excuse that his girlfriend is sick, this will be relevant at the end so don't forget, the conversation revolves around a blood moon that will happen that night and according to what they say it fulfills wishes to which Eva responds by wishing that it would not be another boring and monotonous dinner as always... well, it will not be.
La trama es simple, un grupo de parejas que son amigos de larga data se reúnen para cenar y pasar el rato, acá vemos los clichés de toda la vida, la pareja recién casada que super cariñosa, las parejas con más años de matrimonio más desencantadas. Eva, Alfonso, Antonio, Ana, Eduardo y Blanca están a la espectativa porque ese día conocerían a la nueva novia de Pepe, este llega solo con la excusa de que su novia ha enfermado, esto será relevante al final así que no lo olviden, la conversación gira en torno a una luna de sangre que sucederá esa noche y según dicen cumple deseos a lo que Eva responde deseando que no sea otra cena aburrida y monótona como siempre... vaya que no lo será.
In the middle of dinner, Blanca has the horrific idea that everyone should put their phones in the center of the table and that they should take calls on speakerphone and read messages aloud, since no one has secrets to hide from their friends. friends and partner... the recipe for disaster, I don't want to tell many details because although it is clear what is going to happen in the who and how is the spark of this film, I found it very entertaining except for the ending that makes use of a deux ex machina as huge as a cathedral that annoys me, I would have preferred a thousand times for everything to be screwed up than to be given such a forced resolution.
En medio de la cena a Blanca se le ocurre la horrorosa idea de que todos coloquen sus teléfonos en el centro de la mesa y que deberán atender las llamadas en altavoz y leer los mensajes en voz alta, ya que nadie tiene secretos que ocultar a sus amigos y pareja... la receta para el desastre, no quisiera contar muchos detalles porque aunque es evidente lo que va a suceder en el quién y el cómo está la chispa de esta película, me resulto muy entretenida salvo el final que hace uso de un deux ex machina enorme como una catedral que a mí me molesta, habría preferido mil veces que todo quedara jodido a que le dieran una resolución tan forzada.
Something that made me very funny was realizing that there are about 10 different versions of this film, well there is only an Italian one called Perfetti sconosciuti, from which they later released Korean, Lebanese, Turkish, Mexican, French, Greek and Spanish versions, obviously. that gives us an idea of the type of movie it is, don't expect great dialogues, a script written without a single hole, masterful performances, this movie offers some laughs and a disconnected time. Would I watch it again?... No, it's not because I didn't like it, it's just that it's one of those plots that loses all impact when you already know what's going to happen. Do I recommend it?... Yes, but they have to be aware that what they are going to see is not a masterpiece.
Algo que me causo mucha gracia fue darme cuenta de que existen como 10 versiones distintas de esta película, bueno no está sino una italiana llamada Perfetti sconosciuti de la que luego sacaron versiones coreanas, libanesas, turcas, mexicanas, francesas, griegas y españolas evidentemente, eso nos da una idea del tipo de película es, no esperen grandes diálogos, un guion escrito sin un solo agujero, interpretaciones magistrales, esta película ofrece unas risas y un rato desconectado. ¿La volvería a ver?... No, no es porque no me haya gustado, es solo que es de esas tramas que pierde todo impacto cuando ya sabes que va a suceder, ¿La recomiendo?... Si,, pero tienen que estar consientes de que lo que van a ver no es una obra maestra.
