I believe there are 4 or 5 time travel episodes in Twilight Zone. It’s definitely 5 as I forgot about the Buster Keaton tribute that was half a silent episode but at least that one had a “time helmet” and was kinda funny (I think half on purpose indeed)
Three are terribly done (the one above , then another one called “No Time Like The Past” a one hour season 4?episode like so bad! We will review eventually, the other we did “Of Late I think Of Cliffordville)
Then there’s the 4th one (“Back There”) with the actor who played professor from Gilligan’s Island goes back to try and save Abraham Lincoln after a chat about changing history at a fancy DC country club. I actually don’t think it’s a bad episode but there is no explanation for him going back. Just poof he’s back in time.
Then this one that seems to be best “reason” or “How/Why it happened”
I remember not enjoying this episode much as a kid but it’s grown on me as I rewatch and study the series.
Oh I totally forgot a good time travel episode “Walking Distance” a season one episode! So it’s at least 6 episodes but maybe 7. So one classic, one good, one average and 3 or 4 total bombs! Yup not a topic done well writing wise at all on average. The dystopian episodes or alien ones have a much better ratio!
