I watched it with my cousin who is a medical student and it was more fun because she explained even better what happened in each chapter, she told me that it has taught her a lot for her career, so that makes me think that even those relevant aspects were taken into account, to make things right so that even a medical student or any doctor does not tell you that it is pure charlatanism, but also enjoy their chapters.
Throughout all the seasons we get to know the lives of surgeons, residents and interns, as they evolve sentimentally and professionally, endless love relationships between all, really the author was very creative in forming couples where no one imagined, its main protagonist is Meredith Grey by Ellen Pompeo, throughout the seasons is like the main rope of most of the events of the series, even at the beginning or end of the chapters there is a voice speaking giving advice or phrases and it is she who tells us those words, show us the ups and downs of studying such a difficult career, in terms of mixing family-work-relationships-study.
The truth is that I declare myself a fan of this series even though I didn't like many of the things that happened, I suffered them just like the main characters, Meredith suffered from beginning to end, she went through so many things, she had a difficult childhood, her mother died, her father, her husband, her sister, her boyfriend as well as many of her colleagues. In addition to the disappearance of many important characters such as her best friend Yang who appeared as a call or messages but did not appear in many final seasons, her best friend Alex, her friends and colleagues who retired to live in other countries and did not appear again throughout the seasons, they were only named in season 16 where Meredith made a scam to the insurance company and Alex asked everyone to make a letter indicating how good a doctor Meredith is in order not to lose her license, and there also the author gave life back to all the characters that have been leaving the series, without killing them of course. It is here where I didn't like it because in each season they literally "killed" a doctor, we missed Derek, Geroge, Lexie, Mark, the good thing that the author knew that many fans wanted to see at least one chapter of these characters, and season 17 brought them back in the dreams of Meredith, sick with COVID, it was a great season where they showed us all the struggle of the superheroes, as demonstrated by all the doctors, nurses, firefighters, orderlies, paramedics since the beginning of the pandemic. It was truly a great tribute to all those who were and still are part of the front line.

STOPLa única serie de médicos que vi algunas temporadas fue E.R Soy poco de ver series procedimentales.
Esta serie es muy exitosa, tiene una legión de fans grande.
Muchos personajes que dices no salieron mas en la serie, es porque los actores tuvieron problemas o decidieron abandonar.
Snadra Oh, que duro 10 temporadas interpretando a la medico asiática no va a volver a hacer ese personaje, por eso no salio ni saldrá en sueños ni nada de eso. La actriz esta teniendo mucho éxito con la serie Killing Eve, te la recomiendo.
17 temporadas y ya confirmada una 18 y las viste todas en un año? este tipo de serie tiene un promedio de 24 episodios por temporada, quizás algunas temporadas tuvieron menos, como para verla en maratón de dos meses XD

Y si la verdad dure casi un año para verla pero es que no estaba en mi país, y estaba fuera trabajando muchísimo para poder regresar trabajaba de 8 am a 12 d la noche y tenia poco tiempo para verla, pero apenas tenia un momento me ponía a verla.
