Hello beautiful people of the Hive! today I bring you one of the love stories taken from a book to the screen that I like the most being one of my favorite books that when I have the opportunity I read it again and again, and in turn I like to analyze it because it is about how a person is determined in his character from the age of thirteen, it is about flipped. In Spanish-speaking countries it has come to be titled Mi Primer Amor or Aprendiendo a Vivir. In short, the names have a little to do with the juvenile theme of the movie, but when you read the book you discover that it goes beyond falling in love with a platonic love and is more about how our character is formed as we grow up and that we are a slight reflection of the actions of our parents.
¡Hola gente bonita de Hive! hoy les traigo una de las historias de amor llevadas de un libro a la pantalla de las que más me gustan siendo uno de mis libros favorito que cuando tengo oportunidad lo leo una y otra vez, y que a su vez me gusta analizarlo porque trata de como se determina una persona en su carácter a partir de la edad edad de trece años, se trata de flipped. en países de habla hispana a llegado a tener como titulo Mi Primer Amor o Aprendiendo a Vivir. en fin nombres que un poco tienen que ver con la temática juvenil de la película, pero al leer el libro descubres que va mas allá de enamorarse de un amor platónico y trata mas de como se va formando nuestro carácter a medida de que crecemos y que somos un leve reflejo de los actos de nuestros padres.

In both the book and the movie it shows our two main characters a July Baker (Madeline Carrol) platonically in love with her neighbor Bryce Loski (Callan McAuliffe) since the age of 6 who behaves annoyingly from the beginning of the book seeing her dear neighbor with the eyes of love, from the way he walks to the fuzz on his ear (part of the book that makes me laugh a lot) but she is too stalkerish, unbearably hahaha.

Por el otro tenemos a un Bryce Loski huyendo de su vecina asechadora a lo largo de la trama, insoportable, hasta el día que ella pide su ayuda para que no tiraran abajo el árbol de Comodoro, el cual es un patrimonio nacional, de Canadá donde esta ambientado tanto el libro como la película, ¡por que tanto alboroto por un árbol? ¿eran sus palabras o las agrias palabras de un adulto de sueños frustrados? este niño era el vivo reflejo de su padre eso no queda ninguna duda.

What I love about both the book and the movie is how it softens the idealization towards a person, and doesn't romanticize it like we're used to seeing in many movies where the nerd stays with the cute guy and popular high school knucklehead. It takes the cute neighbor down from his pedestal and gives him a chance to really get to know him.
Lo que me encanta tanto del libro como de la película es como suaviza la idealización hacia una persona, y no la romantiza como estamos acostumbrados a ver en muchas películas donde la nerd se queda con el chico guapo y cabeza hueca popular de bachillerato. I've read fanarts of internet users wanting to recreate the kiss that didn't happen, and the truth is that the book is not about that, but about discovering who we really are without losing ourselves along the way and to stop idealizing people we don't know and believe in ourselves... and that's why this book is so special to me and I'm so happy how the movie doesn't lose the magic of the plot from beginning to end.

Realmente para mi es mucho mejor el libro que la pelicula, ya que en las peliculas les recortan mucha trama y siempre cambian cosas asi que la escensia la pierdes.
Me recuerda cuando lei yo antes de ti, y luego vi la pelicula y no me gusto porque cambiron y quitaron muchas cosas.
Si, siempre faltan muchas cosas por contar, es lo malo de las películas, obviamente para mi siempre serán mejores los libros que las películas pero esta le hizo justicia al libro.
