I haven't read the book, and thanks to your review, I understand the movie, it is sad to think about everything that happens to the woman, and it just shows how cruel the world is, but in this cruel world there are still people who can love you genuinely, it is rare and you are lucky if you are able to find love that is both pure and genuine nowadays.
