Yesterday I started watching a series that reminded me of this movie, I don't know why, well, I do know, now that I remember Revenge too, and I can only say that I love this movie insanely and I am also loving the series with all the bad and deformed things inside me. Women murdering men? Women taking revenge for this world that is always mistreating them? Of course, I'm going to watch this movie or this series, of course, I'm going to love them because it became one of my favorite genres since I was growing up when I saw, I don't remember the name of this movie right now, but surely someone will know, it was a movie where a woman was raped and abused among many men and then she practically came back from the dead to murder them all (I Spit On Your Grave, I was told the name later), well, ever since that movie, which I don't know, it must be more than 15 years old, no, lie, it must be more than 10 years old, but ever since I saw that movie, I loved it, and I shouldn't even have seen it because I was so tiny, ever since that movie, this genre, which is not a genre, but you know what I mean, became one of my favorites and every movie I'm introduced to of women taking revenge, of course, I'm going to see them and of course, I'm going to love them no matter what.
Revenge is basically like a different version of that movie I saw in my childhood, 3 very wealthy men are going to meet in a house in a desert, I can't remember where in the world this happens, for their annual hunt, it seems completely ridiculous to me, the truth, but this time everything is going to be different when one of them has his mistress there, as they are all married and have families, a perfect representation of what men are nowadays and have always been, this I shouldn't even say, but I'm going to say it anyway because I feel like it, one of them, who is not her lover obviously, is going to rape her and the other one is going to watch while they rape her without doing anything, then they leave her for dead after they throw her off a cliff, but she's not dead and she starts hunting them. I love this movie madly and I'm thankful I remembered it because this review was finally able to be done.
Ayer comencé a ver una serie que me recordó a esta película, no sé por qué, bueno, ya sí sé, ahora que recuerdo Revenge también, y sólo me queda decir que amo esta película insanamente y que también estoy amando la serie con todas las cosas malas y deformes que hay en mi interior. ¿Mujeres asesinando hombres? ¿Mujeres tomando venganza por este mundo que siempre las esta maltratando? Claro que voy a ver esta película o esta serie, claro que las voy a amar, porque se convirtió en uno de mis géneros favoritos desde que yo estaba creciendo cuando vi, no recuerdo el nombre de esta película en este momento, pero seguramente alguien lo sabrá, era una película donde una mujer era violada y maltratada entre muchos hombres y luego prácticamente ella volvía de la muerte para asesinarlos a todos (I Spit On Your Grave, me dijeron el nombre después), bueno, desde esa película, que no sé, debe tener más de 15 años, no, mentira, debe tener más de 10 años, pero desde que vi esa película, la amé, y ni siquiera debería haberla visto porque estaba muy pequeñe, desde esa película, este género, que no es un género, pero ya me entienden, se convirtió en uno de mis favoritos y cada película que me presenten de mujeres tomando venganza, claro que las voy a ver y claro que las voy a amar sin importar qué.
Revenge es básicamente como una versión diferente de esa película que vi en mi infancia, 3 hombres muy adinerados se van a reunir en una casa en un desierto, no me acuerdo en qué parte del mundo sucede esto, para su caza anual, me parece una completa ridiculez, la verdad, pero esta vez todo va a ser diferente cuando uno de ellos tiene a su amante ahí, pues todos están casados y tienen familias, una representación perfecta de lo que son los hombres actualmente y que han sido siempre, esto ni siquiera debería decirlo, pero lo voy a decir de todas formas porque me da la gana, uno de ellos, que no es el amante de ella, obviamente, la va a violar y el otro va a observar mientras la violan sin hacer nada, entonces la dan por muerta después de que la lanzan por un acantilado, pero no está muerta y ella comienza a cazarlos a ellos. Amo esta película con locura y agradezco haberme acordado de ella porque se pudo hacer esta reseña finalmente.

The performances are going to be a bit mediocre, the truth is, but this is another of those things that don't matter when watching the movie, they are just going to act bad and that's it, they don't need a majestic performance to sell the movie, no, this is one of those cases where the sense, the intention and the feeling of everything that the movie represents predominates, beyond the logic or the performances of the characters, and that is the reason why the film received so many criticisms, they shield themselves by complaining and talking bad about any stupidity that comes to their mind when watching the film, only because it represents, in an exaggerated way, of course, a reality that all women live day by day, that is, as this world is dominated by men, well they don't want this kind of things to have more visibility.
Sí, esta película va a tener muchas cosas ilógicas, porque no son cosas malas, aunque su desarrollo sí sea malo, pero nada de eso importa cuando el sentimiento está perfectamente representado y ya con eso la película es maravillosa. No les voy a contar específicamente qué cosas son las ilógicas en esta película, pero sí hay muchas, por ejemplo, una que sale en el tráiler, que eso no es spoiler, cuando la lanzan del acantilado y cae sobre un árbol y el árbol la traspasa, bueno, o sea, ¿cémo carajo sobrevivió eso?, o sea, hay teorías conspirativas y conspiranoícas por ahí explicando el por qué, pero no me interesa, sobrevivió y comenzó a cazar a esos hombres, no me importa que viva, ya después nos arreglamos con la lógica del mundo, en ese momento no importa nada.
Las actuaciones sí van a ser un poco mediocres, la verdad, pero esta es otra de esas cosas que no importan al momento de ver la película, simplemente van a actuar mal y ya, no necesitan de una actuación majestuosa para vender la película, no, este es uno de esos casos donde predomina el sentido, la intención y el sentimiento de todo lo que representa la película, más allá de la lógica o las actuaciones de los personajes, y es por eso mismo que la película recibió tantas críticas, se escudan quejándose y hablando mal de cualquier pendejada que se les ocurre al ver la película, solamente porque representa, de forma exagerada, claro está, una realidad que viven todas las mujeres día a día, es decir, como este mundo está dominado por hombres, bueno no quieren que este tipo de cosas tengan más visibilidad.

Eso es lo único que creo que le reprochó a ella, me estoy divirtiendo demasiado con esto, pero en el momento en que el desgraciado y maldito ese comienza a invadir su espacio personal y a decirle que era obviamente que ella quería eso, que lo estaba buscando, que lo provocó y cualquier mierda que suelen decir los violadores para justificar ese acoso sexual y el abuso sexual que terminó teniendo lugar, en ese momento la rabia surgió en mé y dije mátalos a todos, matalos, ni siquiera sabía que los iba a matar, pero matalos a todos y mi deseo se hizo realidad y soy feliz.

De mis cosas favoritas eternamente de esta película está los sangrienta que es, ay Dios mío Santo redentor, tanta sangre es ilógica, esa es otra de las cosas ilógicas que hay aquí, pero Dios mío, tanta sangre me fascina, no debería, pero son estas pequeñas cosas las que hacen que el aprecio surga de manera natural hacia películas que van a ser rechazadas por el mundo, y esta es una de esas películas, y no es por eso que la amo, pero la amo demasiado, y nada va a cambiar eso, ni siquiera el hecho de que ella estaba con un hombre casado, o sea, eso ni siquiera me importa, ni me interesa, eso no es justificación para que los malditos esos le hayan hecho la vida en un infierno a ella, y ya me arreché, pero ya me calmé, así que continuamos con esta reseña.
Esta película me recuerda a algo que sucede en otra película, en Promising Young Woman, y esta cosa es el hecho de que los hombres van a preferir guardar silencio ante las violaciones que sus amigos hacen a qué decir la verdad ante el mundo, o sea, el tipo en esta película prefirió lanzarla de un acantilado para que el secreto de que su amigo la había violado no saliera a la luz, a qué decir que su amigo la había violado, primero, por el simple hecho de que ella era su amante, o sea, 'prefiero matarla a que decir que la violaron'. imagino que eso fue lo que el tipo pensó, y segundo, aunque los hombres dicen que no son violadores, tienen un amigo que sí, pero como cosas del mundo, prefieren ignorar ese hecho a que analizarse a sí mismos y al grupo de amigos que tienen, porque es lo único que conocen, sólo conocen el hecho de prácticamente obligar a la mujer a tener sexo cuando ellos quieren y no cuando ella lo quiere, y lo odio, por eso digo en el título que todos los hombres deberían ser asesinados por una mujer.

Recuerdo haber visto esta película con mi hermana, mi hermano, y mi cuñada, ellas tuvieron la misma reacción que yo al principio de odiar a Jen, pero después se pusieron de su lado y estaban felices de que ella terminara matándolos a ellos, mientras que el desgraciado de mi hermano estaba feliz de que el tipo tuviera a un amante como ella al principio, pero se quedó en completo silencio cuando la violan y ella comienza a asesinarlos, ¿y qué hizo él?, comenzó a decir que todas las cosas que estaban pasando eran ilógicas, que ella no podía tener tal manejo de armas de un día para otro, que la sangre que había votado era demasiad,a que tenía que haber muerto desangrada o deshidratada, y yo así de malparido, cállate, al menos esas cosas las decía por dentro, actualmente sí se las diría en la cara, pero nunca más se va a dar una ocasión donde veamos una película juntos, así que perdí mi oportunidad, pero sí, mi hermano comenzó a criticar la película sobre todas esas cosas ilógicas y malas que tiene y obviaba por completo el hecho de que ella había sido violada y que querían encubrir la violación matándola porque obviamente esas cosas no podían salir a la luz, ¿entienden mi punto, lo entienden?
Esta no es una película familiar por lo muy sangrienta que es, la verdad, sólo por eso, porque sí la recomiendo para ver con adolescentes de 14 y 15 años, y solo, tan solo, para que entiendan que nada justifica una violación, que nunca se debe encubrir a ningún amigo que lo haga, y explicarle que el simple hecho de decir un piropo ya es una violación, ya hay países donde eso es penado, sí, sé que hay muchas películas que pueden servir como mejor ejemplo, pero si nos vamos a los extremos, esta es una de esas películas muy gráficas que trauman a la gente sobre los que les puede pasar si violan a una mujer, a violan a alguien en general, la verdad, no hay diferencia aquí de género, incluso Promising Young Woman sería una mejor película para hacerlo, pero a esa le falta la sangre que le sobra a esta película. Ahí tienen el tráiler, véanlo y vean esta película, no se van a arrepentir, y también se lo pueden recomendar a ese amigo que dice que no es violador para que sepa lo que le puede llegar a suceder.

Mi hermano es el esterotipo confirmado de casi todas las cosas malas en el mundo, buento, tampoco así, pero es que él solo me sirve para hablar mal de él, no hay de otra. Espero que veas la película y te guste.
Hay una del año pasado, que vi hace poco. Es menos sangrienta, tiene escenas mas oníricas, pero es sobre la venganza de una mujer. El titulo lo dice todo: Violation. Creo que te va a gustar, búscala, esta en varias listas de los mejor del cine del genero horror del año pasado.
Sígue dándome esas recomendaciones, no me importa que la lista sea infinita, en algún momento, en otra vida, en otro universo las voy a ver todas. Gachas.
