Enjoyed your review :) I have seen the movie as well and I have been looking forward to it since I saw the first movie in the cinema. Gal Gadot is amazing as Wonder Woman, and I have a hard time believing that they could have found a better actress for the role.
In Wonder Woman 1984, Pedro Pascal is also great in his role as Lord Maxwell... but I have got to say, the movie came as a disappointment to me. It might contain a great message about not cheating and so on... but I expected more action, better action, and somehow, it was boring waiting for almost 90 minutes for anything spectacular stuff to happen.
So, I don't regret watching it, but I had hoped that this movie would give me just as great an experience as the first did!
Yes, many viewers expected more action. And according to the director's statement, Warner forced her to put on more action and special effects. The lack of more action scenes is a point that many criticize and are partly right. I was left wanting to see more Wonder Woman fighting with Cheetahs. Thanks for commenting

I love wonder woman, the part where you said Steve Trevor came back to life, after that plane explosion. I look forward to see how it happened, but my best DC character is BATMAN.

I must be honest, I actually fell asleep towards the end of the last Wonder Woman movie.
Perhaps I should rewatch that one before seeing 1984. Either way I must watch it even if it isn’t the best superhero movie ever. I seem to have the desire to watch every superhero movie that releases.
Why Batman could be dark and WW can not show her dark side? Batman was as well a Comic for children.
