Several weeks ago I finished a series that I loved, I can't explain why but it's called Severance from Apple, among several movies that I was interested in watching I noticed that one was also from AppleTV, because of how much I enjoyed the series I mentioned, I decided to watch "the black swan song".
The title alone is striking, or that's what happened to me, because researching a bit about it, I learned that it is an expression, due to something the swan does before dying, "when the end of his life approaches [the swan] sings better and louder; and, thus, singing, he ends his life" (Tuscan Bestiary).
Hace varias semanas terminé una serie que me encantó, no puedo explicarles porque pero se llama Severance de Apple, entre varias películas que me interesaban ver noté que una era también de AppleTV, debido a lo mucho que disfruté la serie que les mencioné, me animé a ver "el canto del cisne negro".
Llama la atención solo el título, o fue lo que me ocurrió a mí, pues investigando un poco sobre el, aprendí que se trata de una expresión, debido a algo que hace el cisne antes de morir, “cuando se aproxima el final de su vida [el cisne] canta mejor y más fuerte; y, así, cantando, él acaba su vida” (Bestiario toscano).
This beautiful and emotional film tells the story of Cameron, a talented artist, who is going through a very complicated moment in his life, because without expecting it, he is told that he has a terminal illness and that he has very little time left, which like any sane human being, affects him very much, he does not know how to tell his family, because he is afraid of causing more pain than he has experienced so far.
Thinking to avoid breaking the heart of his family, he makes a decision that could be the solution, but too many feelings are involved and the feeling that he is doing something that is not right, many things go through his mind and his great pain, he manages to transmit it to us, impossible not to empathize, putting us in his place and thinking what would I do?
Esta hermosa y emotiva película, cuenta la historia de Cameron, un artista talentoso, que pasa por un momento super complicado de su vida, pues sin esperarlo, le dicen que padece una enfermedad terminal y que le queda muy poco tiempo, lo cual como a cualquier ser humano cuerdo, le afecta muchísimo, no sabe como contárselo a su familia, pues teme causar más dolor del que ha experimentado hasta ese momento.
Pensando en evitar romper el corazón de su familia, toma una decisión que podría ser la solución, pero están envueltos demasiados sentimientos y la sensación de que esta haciendo algo que no está bien, Muchas cosas pasan por su mente y su gran dolor, logra transmitirnoslo, imposible no empatizar, poniéndonos en su lugar y pensando ¿que haría yo?
At one point, he realizes that everything that is important to him is being given into the hands of someone he should know and yet does not know, he finds himself in a moral dilemma and wonders if what he is doing is really right, and if it is really worth it or not, making it clear how difficult it is to let go of the things we love, even when we are on the verge of death.
Within it there is so much pain that we can almost feel it, is that very few of us can imagine how hard it can be to know that soon you will be leaving someone, who not only loves you, but needs you, the guilt of giving up will be present in those last moments of your life.
En un momento dado, se da cuenta de que todo lo que es importante para el lo está entregando en manos de alguien a quién debe conocer y sin embargo no conoce, se encuentra en un dilema moral y se pregunta si realmente lo que está haciendo estará bien, Y si realmente vale la pena o no, dejándonos claro lo difícil Qué es desprendernos de las cosas que amamos, aún cuando estamos al borde de la muerte.
Dentro de él hay tanto dolor que casi podemos sentirlo, es que muy pocos de nosotros podemos imaginar lo difícil que puede ser saber que pronto dejarás a alguien, que no solo que te quiere, sino que te necesita, la culpa de abandonar estará presente en esos últimos momentos de tu vida.
This movie touches a super emotional subject and treats it in a way that we are not used to, which makes it different, I really expected that while watching it everything would happen differently, that things would not go as planned, and that out of nowhere a big conflict would start.
This did not happen, and although many people do not like this movie because they found it boring, I loved it, I liked that it was different and my favorite part was that the movie really made itself felt, even though it is somewhat slow and repetitive it compensates with the plot and the good performance of the actors.
Esta película toca un tema súper emotivo y lo trata de una manera a la que no estamos acostumbrados, lo cual hace que sea diferente, de verdad que mientras la veía esperaba que todo ocurriera diferente, qué las cosas no fueran como se planeaba, y que de la nada comenzara un gran conflicto.
Esto no ocurrió, Y aunque muchas personas no le gusta esta película pues le pareció aburrida, a mí me encantó, me gustó que fuera diferente y mi parte favorita fue que realmente la película se hizo sentir, aún cuando es algo lenta y repetitiva lo compensa con la trama y la buena actuación de los actores.
The swan song left me with a lot of things to think about, first of all I thought about true love, and all that it is willing to do for the sake of their loved one, of course none of us want our loved ones to suffer, and we would do everything in our power to avoid it.
However sometimes allowing someone else to take our place is a sensitive issue, which obviously would affect us all a lot without us being able to avoid it, no matter who it is we will always think that under our care is that they will be fine, on the other hand a great sign of love is to let someone take our place even when it will break us from the inside.
El canto del cisne me dejó muchísimas cosas en las que pensar, primero que nada pensé en el amor verdadero, y todo lo que está dispuesto hacer este por el bien de su ser amado, claro que ninguno de nosotros queremos que nuestros seres queridos sufran, y haríamos todos los que estudian en nuestras manos para evitarlo.
Sin embargo a veces permitir que otra persona ocupe nuestro lugar es un tema sensible, que obviamente nos afectaría a todos un montón sin que lo pudiéramos evitar, No importa De quién se trate siempre pensaremos qué bajo nuestro cuidado es que estarán bien, por otra parte una gran muestra de amor es, dejar que alguien ocupe nuestro lugar aún cuabdo eso nos va a quebrar desde adentro.
On the other hand, it shows us very, very clearly that what is truly important to us are the simplest things in life, the smile of our loved ones, their hugs and of course the time they dedicate to us, because when time is over, this is what we remember, what really fills us.
Hence the importance of appreciating more those simple and small things we have in life, the good times we spend with our family, and of course, the beautiful words and gestures that made it clear that they also love us and we are important to them.
Por otra parte, nos muestra de manera muy pero muy clara que lo verdaderamente importante para nosotros, son las cosas más simples de la vida, la sonrisa de nuestros seres amados, sus abrazos y por supuesto el tiempo que nos dedican, pues cuando el tiempo acaba, esto es lo que recordamos, lo que de verdad nos llena.
De ahí la importancia de apreciar más esas cosas simples y pequeñas que tenemos en la vida, los buenos momentos que pasamos en familia, y por supuesto, las palabras y gestos hermosos que nos dejaron claro que también nos quieren y somos importantes para ellos.
Sometimes, time plays against us and in the blink of an eye we are old and tired, or maybe going through a really complicated moment, that's why it's good to take care of the most important things, so we don't have too many regrets tormenting us, dedicating time to the ones we love doesn't cost anything, reminding them that we love them is something they will always remember, and this will fill us up in some way.
So, I highly recommend this incredible movie, but do not watch it with the mentality that we see other movies, but with a little more sensitive, trying to observe the beauty of life in its small forms, and ask ourselves how much we are willing to give ourselves?

A veces, el tiempo juega en nuestra contra y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos estamos viejos y cansados, o quizá pasando por un momento realmente complicado, por eso es bueno cuidar lo más importante, para no tener demasiados remordimientos atormentandonos, dedicar tiempo a los que amamos no cuesta nada, recordarles que los queremos es algo que recordaran siempre, y esto nos llenará de alguna manera.
Entonces, les recomiendo muchísimo esta increíble película, pero no la veas con la mentalidad que vemos las demás películas, sino con una un poco más sensible, tratando de observar la belleza de la vida en sus pequeñas formas, y preguntémonos ¿cuanto estamos dispuestos a entregar nosotros?

Hola @jemima1996 un gusto conocerte, vaya me interesa un mundo ver esta película y es que soy de esos que se deja llevar por las emociones y aquí definitivamente veo algo que de seguro me hará llorar de inicio a fin y espero que si ya que por lo que dices toca fibras sensibles.
Es muy cierto en ocasiones o casi siempre invertimos demasiado tiempo en cosas sin valor o en momentos vacíos que no nos deja nada y luego lamentamos no haber pasado tiempo de calidad con aquellas personas que amamos esto es tan cierto que duele decirlo.
Tengo rato que no veo una película donde (Mahershala Ali) sea el protagonista creo quela ultima película que vi donde el aparecía fue en Moonlight la cual te recomiendo.

Si exactamente es una película cargada de muchos sentimientos fuertes, y Mahershala Alilos supo destacar durante toda la película, por eso te recomiendo totalmente verla, pues sacarás tu propia conclusión, en mi caso no sé si podría sacrificar todo lo que el, pero a veces nuestras debilidades nos hacen fuertes.
En lo particular el título me encanta por el mensaje tan profundo que transmite.
