RE: Announcing the Action Contest Winners

in Movies & TV Shows3 years ago

I have to admit that it took me a couple of days to think what to say, my initial reaction was a tremendous shock, if I'm honest I didn't plan to get to fourth place, I thought I had talked a lot about the racial context and why it was a cult film and little about the action of the film, I made perhaps too much emphasis on its elements and in general I felt I had not done a good job with the analysis and/or review... The award took me totally by surprise and I loved that they cited the Radio woman element in the story, of all the elements it was one that I loved.

The element of the Community radio station and community media seemed to be one of the most important to highlight, a reflection of the power of media in the hands of the little guys instead of the usual giants like Fox, Disney, among many others. It is great that there is the power to communicate, organize and bring light selectively, the fact that they quoted that segment of the text was something I did not expect and it was tremendous, as I feel it is the best element of the story along with the fact that the music and its comments were how the Riff organized the hunt for the Warriors.

Now leaving the topic aside, I would like to thank all the moderators of @moviesonhive and its community, it was lovely to be able to contest, read and comment on so many film posts, it's a great space on Hive and it's a project I will always support in one way or another, no matter the limitations that attempt against my available time or the like, having said that, I will then move on to say:
