Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros perdidos del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, últimamente he tenido ganas de ver filmes con temática de zombies (Para variar jajaja) el punto es que tengo varias cintas de este estilo anotadas como recomendaciones por lo que para ir bajando la lista hoy le tocó el turno a "It Stains the Sands Red" que parecía darle un giro curioso al género por lo que no faltaron más razones para darle una oportunidad. Sin más que agregar prepárense para caminar por el inclemente desierto mientras sucede un apocalipsis zombie pues estamos por comenzar.

Es un filme de terror y zombies, la historia se centra en Molly la cual se queda barata en mitad del desierto junto a su novio, estos trataban de escapar de los devora carne y de la ciudad, mientras intentaban sacar el auto de la zanja en que cayó son atacados por un no muerto, nuestra protagonista logra huir al desierto con algunas provisiones, sin embargo, el zombie la seguía a un ritmo lento pero constante, lo que al principio no parecía un problema, no obstante, a diferencia de ella ese ser no necesitaba comer ni descansar, por lo que su travesía hasta un lugar seguro será mucho más riesgosa debido a que tiene a un peligroso devorador siguiéndola.

The soundtrack is not spectacular, it is present throughout the tape but this does not feel like something interesting or contributes anything relevant.
La banda sonora no es nada espectacular, está presente a lo largo de la cinta pero esta no se siente como algo interesante ni aporta nada relevante.

Literalmente, el filme se desarrolla en un desierto casi en su totalidad, ergo, no hay mucho en su escenografía que se pueda destacar debido a que es sumamente intrascendente. Pese a lo anterior sí hay algo que se pueda rescatar, esos son los ángulos de cámara, los mismos resultan interesantes debido a que se utilizan como medio para generar intriga en el espectador mediante sucesos teniendo lugar sin ser enfocados, esto es llamativo en primera instancia pero no es lo suficientemente bueno como para salvar este apartado.
The plot is quite slow and boring, it is not the typical film of the genre that has an insane amount of dead stalking and attacking, which makes it quite decaffeinated and tasteless. La trama es bastante lenta y aburrida, no es el típico filme del género que tiene una insana cantidad de muertos acechando y atacando, lo que la hace bastante descafeinada e insípida. Narrativamente no hay mucho, el factor suspenso es trabajado de forma burda por lo que se vuelve tediosa de ver, durante largos periodos lo único que se tiene es a la protagonista hablando sola y con uno que otro susto de por medio, siendo algo insuficiente para mantener atrapada la atención del espectador, pese a que tenga una duración relativamente corta se hace muy larga de ver por su falta de contenido interesante.

La protagonista es bastante desagradable, la mayor parte del tiempo solo dice estupideces varias las cuales se supone deberían resultar atractivas, cosa que no se consigue de ninguna forma, por otro lado, se busca profundizar en ella explorando su pasado y se busca darle un desarrollo sin éxito, siendo algo que no se consigue de forma orgánica y se siente forzado de sobremanera; el hecho de que sea el único personaje "interesante" en pantalla solo deja peor parado al filme.
It Stains The Sands Red is quite difficult to see without falling asleep, its intention to be something deep and have grotesque scenes is striking in theory but in practice it leaves much to be desired, the fact that you try to include comic scenes only sink even more to the film. It Stains the Sands Red es bastante difícil de ver sin quedarse dormido, su intención de ser algo profunda y tener escenas grotescas es llamativa en la teoría pero en la práctica deja mucho que desear, el hecho de que se intente incluir escenas cómicas solo hunde aún más a la película. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 1.5 estrellas de 7, hay muchas mejores opciones si de filmes de zombies hablamos, si de todas formas quieren ver un filme algo mediocre y con un ritmo sumamente lento esta es sin lugar a dudas la película para ustedes.

Amigo, me preocupé cuando leí: "últimamente he tenido ganas de ver filmes con temática de zombies".
Es una cosa que evito mucho, no puedo decir que haya muchos buenos exponentes del cine con ese tema, por lo menos tengo unos tres filmes que aprecio bastante y no más.
Le deseo la mejor de las suertes y mucho ánimo para el análisis de su próximo filme.
Saludos mi estimado, desgraciadamente los filmes de zombies son un gusto culposo que no tiene los mejores exponentes que se pueda decir, estoy acostumbrado a ello; en este punto solo espero que tengan algún susto fácil, momentos épicos y seres putrefactos corriendo como si estuvieran en las olimpiadas, ya veremos si me topo con algún exponente con las características antes mencionadas.
