Like you, I'm not really a fan of horror movies even though I've seen a few of them. Personal opinion: the world is spooky enough on its own and I don't need movies that are supposed to act as an escape to remind me of exactly what I'm seeking an escape from lol
Mr. Harrigan's phone doesn't sound so bad in my opinion, it doesn't scream "watch me!" but I think it's worth giving a shot.
I haven't read any Stephen King books so I can't even imagine the feel of the inspiration behind this movie.
