Most people are unaware that this kind of thing is already going and on the largest scale. Selected group of wealthy individuals together with governments playing divide and conquer on most of humanity, especially those who are fighting to get out of misery. The show is just an ugly representation of the current state of the world.
You're right. There are worse things going on in many countries now than on this TV show. Only, in a real world, millions of people are involved, and not a limited number like in the squid game.
