Last looks was premiered in 2nd December 2021 in Portugal and Poland which release in the United State of America is scheduled to be in February of 2022 which exact date will be announced soon by the RLJE films who are planning to make it a day and date theatrical and on Demand release.
Last look was directed by Tim Kirkby the director of Action point movie whose screenplay writer is Howard Micheal Gould been the writer of the Novel, the mobeie was produced by Brad feinstein known for his popular production of BRUISED, with some other good producers such as Andrew Lazar known with the work AMERICAN SNIPER, Steven Shainberg known for RUPTURE and not forgetting Christina Weiss Laurie know for PERSUASION.
Charlie Hunnamz Mel Gibson and Gonzalez Eiza joined the cast of the movie in October 2018, with Jacob Scipio, Dominic Monaghan, Clancy Brown, Morena Baccarin and Paul Ben Victor joining the cast in June 2019, while Lucy Fry joined in July 2019 and Rupert Friend with Method Man joined the cast in August 2019.
A film packaged by The Romulus entertainment production, which location for the filming was shuttled between Atlanta Georgia and Los Angeles, California.
PLOT
Last looks which is a 2021 comedic crime mystery movie with a length of 110 minutes is a movie about Charlie Waldo which role was played by Charlie Hunnam is a ex-Los Angeles Police department cop who was disgraced after an incident left the force and decided to live is life as simple as possible, left the city and went deep into the woods in a tiny hilltop cabin above the city and own about 100 possession which he is obsessed about also been cautious of his emission of carbon di oxide into the atmosphere.
He is found of riding bicycles and in three years time he was seen to have grown a large beard which is scruffy.
Mel Gibson whose role was taken by Alistair Pinch is a high profile Eccentric English TV actor who is always drunk all day on his TV show, before his wife died in a mysterious ways and she was found dead he became the prime suspect. Waldo ex lover and private investigator Morena Baccarin who took the role.of Lorena showed up at his place to ask for his assistance on the murder investigation of Alistair Pinch wife's murder which forced Waldo to fine out from retirement to investigate the murder and know if Alistair is actually guilty or hemo him clear his name.
The case was a hardnut to crack which got Waldo entangled with fighting with gangsters, teachers, Hollywood executives and more.
There was a twist in the investigation due to too many path of accusations, there came an exciting revealing speech just like it's expected to happen in any mystery cop movie, the speech brought revelation to everything.
You won't expect the film to go without a bombshell to take you off your feet would you but then watch out if there'd be any bombshell at all. The major issue with the movie is the muddled plot and also it's not that comedic as claimed as the only comedy part is mostly between the two stars in the movie which shouldn't have been so, a more comedic plot would have made the film.more interesting to watch over and over again.
In summary last look is basically a average, mystery crime movie that has alot of stylish cops, a lavish setting, gangsters and a little attempt to have sex appeal in it, then there comes little moments of glamour which can still get a couple of laughter(cheap) from you which can prompt you to watch or just watch for the stars in the movie Mel Gibson eccentric accent to keep you going.
