I don't usually watch the movies that Netflix offers as soon as you enter the platform, because I've had several disappointments, however this time I wanted to give it a chance to see if it surprised me. So, I must be honest and give credit to Netflix because I did like this movie,
I haven't seen many Korean films, I think the first one I saw was Parasites, it caught my attention because it was an Oscar winner, I saw it and I liked it, so I wanted to give this one a chance, since the Koreans are gaining ground in this art.

What is the plot of the film?
The story of Ashin (Jun Ji-hyun) is a touching story at first, Ashin is a girl who is orphaned at a young age, her entire family and tribe members are brutally killed, seemingly for no reason. Ashin is the only survivor, and the image of her murdered family is the only thing that will give her the strength to stay alive and have the patience to plan her bloody revenge. As she grows up and develops skill with a bow and arrow, she becomes a lonely and distrustful woman.
When she thinks that the day to savor her revenge is approaching, she makes a terrible discovery that makes her rethink her revenge and execute it sooner than expected, that is when she unleashes all the hatred she has kept for years, and becomes a creator of zombies and a bloodthirsty murderer, ruthless and remorseless.

La historia de Ashin (Jun Ji-hyun) es una historia conmovedora al principio, Ashin es una niña que queda huérfana a temprana edad, toda su familia y los integrantes de su tribu son asesinados brutalmente, aparentemente sin ningún motivo. Ashin es la única sobreviviente, y la imagen de su familia asesinada es lo único que le dará fuerza para mantenerse viva y tener la paciencia de planear su sangrienta venganza. My Opinion
At first the film doesn't have much dialogue, but the scenes are important to understand how the events unfold.
It is a story of drama, action and fantasy, which serves as a development of one of the characters in the Kingdom series. Although the scenes are very gory, they are very well hidden under a somber and dark color, which makes it tolerable for more sensitive viewers.
I have not seen the series, inquiring about the film is that I learned that there is a series where the protagonist of this film will have an antagonist role, but I think you don't need to watch the series to understand the film, on the contrary, I think the film is a smart way to introduce viewers to the series.

Al principio la película no tiene mucho diálogo, pero las escenas son importantes para entender como se desarrollan los sucesos.
Es una historia de drama, acción y fantasía, que sirve de desarrollo de uno de los personajes de la serie Kingdom. Aunque las escenas son muy sangrientas, se ocultan muy bien bajo un color sombrío y oscuro, lo que la hace tolerante para los espectadores más sensibles.
No he visto la serie, indagando sobre la película es que me enteré que existe una serie donde la protagonista de esta película tendrá un papel de antagonista, pero creo que no hace falta ver la serie para entender la película, por el contrario, creo que la película es una forma inteligente de introducir a los espectadores a la serie.

The ending in Kingdom: Ashin of the north explain how in Season 1, how did the royal physician knows about the flower that can resurrect the dead.
In season 2 ending, Ashin appear for few seconds.
Now I'm waiting for season 3 😁

La verdad tenía dudas en ver esta película. Tambien he tenido una mala racha con algunas películas en los últimos días, incluso ví una asiática que me decepcionó.
Pero si había visto entre las populares está producción. Si te ha gustado es una buena señal además me gustan las buenas historias y al parecer esta película cuenta con ella.
