Hello Hive friends, today I bring you a movie that I saw by chance, since my parents get to watch them and from time to time I keep watching it with them if I find them interesting or not. So, when I saw this movie, I was struck by the premise it had.
This movie takes us into the life of our main character named Brady, a young rodeo rider who will face a harsh reality due to an accident that happens to him. At the beginning of the film we find ourselves in the life of Brady Jandreau, who has a deep connection with horses and practices rodeo which is his great passion. In addition, the film shows us the relationship of respect and love he has for these animals and how this helps him to face the difficulties that will come in the future.

Then, our protagonist suffers an accident that totally changes his perspective of the world, as he must face the sad reality that he may never again be able to ride one of these animals that he respects and loves so much. This accident sends him into a crisis where he threatens to be stripped of his passion, in addition to the internal struggle to accept this new reality. As the film progresses, characters appear who also have their own problems. So the film does not focus only on Brady; one of these characters is his sister Lilly, who has mental disabilities. She plays quite an important role in Brady's life and in the process of his recovery. I found this relationship to be one of the most beautiful in the movie, as it shows the support you can get only from someone like your brother or sister and how they help you overcome big crises, of course there are their exceptional cases.
In addition to Lilly, we are also shown a friend of Brady's named Lane, who does the same activity as Brady, that is, he is a rodeo rider as well. This one also has a similar injury to the one suffered by our protagonist, but this one is much worse. His appearance in the film represents the danger of this activity and makes us wonder about the sacrifice we are willing to make for something we love.

I found the film to be quite beautiful as there are shots where one can see the beauty of the landscapes and the interactions between each of the characters involved. I found it quite interesting that Brady himself plays his own character, thus giving an even more authentic touch to the film. Also, it is a film that shows us how far we are willing to go for our passions or for what we love, and the different decisions that can influence these. Mind you, the film slowly builds up to take us deeper into Brady's life and see the development that Brady has as the film progresses. Adding to this, broader themes such as the meaning of bravery in the rodeo arena are addressed. If you like overcoming movies "The Horseman" is a movie you should see.

Hola amigos de Hive, hoy les traigo una película que vi de casualidad, ya que mis padres se ponen a verlas y de vez en cuando me la quedo viendo con ellos si me parecen interesantes o no. Así, al ver esta película, me llamó la atención la premisa que tenía.
Esta película nos adentra en la vida de nuestro protagonista llamado Brady, un joven jinete de rodeo que enfrentará una dura realidad debido a un accidente que le ocurre. Al principio de la película nos encontramos en la vida de Brady Jandreau, quien tiene una profunda conexión con los caballos y practica el rodeo el cual es su gran pasión. Además, la película nos muestra la relación de respeto y amor que tiene por estos animales y cómo esto le ayuda a afrontar las dificultades que vendrán en el futuro.

Luego, nuestro protagonista sufre un accidente que le cambia totalmente la perspectiva del mundo, ya que debe enfrentar la triste realidad de que tal vez nunca pueda volver a montar uno de estos animales que tanto respeta y ama. Este accidente lo hace entrar en una crisis donde amenaza con ser despojado de su pasión, además de la lucha interna por aceptar esta nueva realidad. Mientras transcurre la película van apareciendo personajes que también tienen sus propios problemas. Así que la película no se centra solamente en Brady; uno de estos personajes es su hermana Lilly, quien tiene discapacidades mentales. Esta juega un rol bastante importante en la vida de Brady y en el proceso de su recuperación. Esta relación me pareció una de las más bonitas de la película, ya que muestra el apoyo que puedes obtener solamente de alguien como tu hermano o hermana y como estos te ayudan a superar grandes crisis, claro hay sus casos excepcionales.
Además de Lilly, también nos muestran a un amigo de Brady llamado Lane, el cual hace la misma actividad que Brady, es decir, es un jinete de rodeo también. Este también tiene una lesión parecida a la que sufrió nuestro protagonista, pero este se encuentra mucho peor. Su aparición en la película este representa el peligro de esta actividad y nos hace preguntar sobre el sacrificio que estamos dispuestos a hacer por algo que amamos.

La película me pareció bastante bonita ya que hay tomas donde uno puede ver la belleza de los paisajes y las interacciones que hay entre cada uno de los personajes que participan en ella. Me pareció bastante interesante que el mismo Brady interpreta su propio personaje, dándole así un toque aún más auténtico a la película. Además, es una película que nos muestra hasta dónde estamos dispuestos a llegar por nuestras pasiones o por lo que amamos, y las distintas decisiones que pueden influir en estas. Eso sí, la película va poco a poco para adentrarnos más en la vida de Brady y ver el desarrollo que este tiene a medida que avanza la película. Añadiendo a esto, se abordan temas más amplios como el significado de la valentía en el campo de los rodeos. Si te gustan las películas de superación "El Jinete" es una película que deberías ver.
