the story:
Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is a detective, and has an incredible talent for tracking down any serial killer. Will Graham has his own ways of working; As he visualizes himself as the killer in order to understand his mentality, and to understand how the killer committed the crime, a gruesome serial killer named Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) admires Will Graham. Hannibal Lecter is a genius of psychoanalysis and forensic medicine; Therefore, he would kill any of his victims, cook their organs, and then eat them.
The irony is that Will Graham, despite his unique abilities, the FBI refused to let Will work with it and only helped it unofficially in solving some crimes because Will is a psychopath. The FBI has hired a distinguished psychiatrist to supervise Will's treatment and help him in his duties, and this doctor is Dr. Hannibal Lecter who plays the main role in the series, he is not only a professional psychiatrist but also a serial killer and cannibal.
The series contains a lot of horror in its deep and complex dialogues that go into the depths of the human soul, as well as unexpected and shocking events, the end of each season was also impressive.
My opinion of the series:
This series is a complete masterpiece. The story is written perfectly and the photography is superb. Each character was presented in a convincing and elaborate manner and the acting was professional. I was strongly influenced by Mads Mikkelsen's superb performance as Hannibal and he amazed me with his elegance and distinction. Directing and cinematography enabled the viewer to understand the characters, their justifications and their emotions.
It is one of the best series I have watched and I hope to watch it again.
