There is no doubt that the theme of cults, occult mysteries, is the common denominator in this series; it is here where this detective must deal with all this, travelling to the past, remembering old traumas, which makes him feel identified with this new crime, specifically with the victim. The way in which the shots are composed and how they are shown tells us of a non-hierarchical visual planning applied in some scenes, I could also see other scenes where the hierarchical composition was found, meaning that the director has a clear mastery of both classical and modern technique. A resource that contributes a lot in the narrative is the zenithal shot, every time this shot appears the protagonist is in a very high emotional point, so much so that thanks to this camera angle the viewer locates the character's apartment inside a shed.

The truth is that this was one of my favorite series in my childhood, I remember a lot waiting anxiously to see it, for me it was quite exciting since I honestly felt like I was watching a show, for this reason it seems quite strange to me that it cannot be seen on the platform from Disney Plus, since I feel it's totally worth having, I guess it must be some copyright issue or something.

Now, on the other hand, if we see it from point of view 2, as an independent series: Actually the first season was not too wow, but the second season was quite interesting, it just should not have ended like that, it leaves you with more questions than answers, basically it is a super open ending that leaves you super bad after knowing that it is a cancelled series. From this series I rescue a lot the second season, I even watched it twice, because it improves 100% the bad signal of the first one.

The film is precise and shows us the important events almost immediately, using terror as a tool, but it is clear that this is not its objective. All the time I noticed that the director wanted to give us several messages in which he just wanted to make us laugh since the most grotesque scenes were softened by humorous images and one or another circumstance that will make you laugh.
