As I said this is a film that is characterized by several things, the first is because no more than 3 words are uttered throughout the film, this is something brutal because it emphasizes Kaitlyn's acting, it makes the way she carries the story more real and physical, she has to have the ability to convey what is usually done with words, it's complicated but I think she succeeds. And the second thing is that here there are certain "Jump Scare" that help to make the first more perceptible, there are scenes that are designed so that out of nowhere something happens that makes you jump out of your chair. All this accompanied by a spectacular intrigue and anxiety, is the strong point of this plot and what you can feel the most.

To talk about David Jones and his appearance, I have to talk about the film's cinematography and the staging in general. Pirates of the Caribbean has beautiful cinematography because it represents the beaches of the Caribbean which in themselves are beautiful, most of the sets are real locations and it is not just the color palette or the appropriate filters for each scene, but the use of quite good and interesting shots, there are shots in thirds, descending and perpendicular shots, there are other inclined ones, let's say that where cinematography shines the most is in the use of shots and the composition of the scenes. But the special effects regarding the Dutch Herrante and his crew are far beyond what was expected for the time.

In this story we also see the secondary characters who bring us stories of cowboys, and how they arrived at this ranch and managed to have the trust of the respected Mr. Dutton, as the chapters go by the war for the lands and the power becomes more intense, the drama and suspense of what could happen will leave you tied to it.

I am not a lover of horror movies, I always try to watch them with company, but this one in particular I saw it alone and I did not feel that sense of uncertainty that other movies of the same genre generate in me. It does have a lot of mystery and intrigue as well as an atmosphere that makes you think that something is not quite right, not to mention that irregular situations begin to happen to Susana when she is with her grandmother, but it is not fear, but rather suspense and the desire to know more. Although later the grandmother stands up and says what seems to be an incantation in a strange language, from here on, the hints are clearer and you begin to suspect where the story is going.

One point I want to criticize is the actors, I honestly am not one to pay attention to these things because I'm always more interested in the story than in those who play the characters, but in this case it caught my attention (and I don't know if it was something on purpose) that those who play the characters really seem that they don't feel like doing it, maybe it was a way to make it as "realistic" as possible since they are teenagers, but it did generate some noise in some scenes, but as I mentioned, I was really more interested in the story and that's what made me finish the movie without problems.

In the visual aspect I have no complaints, the predominance of shadows helps a lot to the feeling of immersion of the viewer in what is happening and combines with that tension around the secrets that is being created until finally everything explodes as they are revealed. Personally, I've always liked that the atmosphere is kept dark with warm and cold points of light depending on the moment, besides that in this opportunity it was perfect because most of the cinematography is developed in the house, a storm is supposed to be happening... you can perceive that energy. You have to keep in mind that being independent their budget was limited and to tell the truth in spite of everything they achieved an excellent result since to me it didn't feel cheap. Filming took place in a farmhouse near London for precisely that reason, but the landscape scenes were filmed in the Scottish Highlands, which succeeded in presenting the place where it all takes place as a desolate one.

Undoubtedly the series conveys a message of personal growth, and besides Aang, one of the characters who best demonstrates this is Zuko, who at first only seeks the approval of his father, and it is his uncle who guides him to find his true mission. On the other hand I also like the character of Sokka, he is the only non-master in the Avatar's team, but that did not prevent him from accompanying him in every adventure or fight, and although at the beginning he was a not very skilled warrior, he acquired great mastery of the boomerang and the sword, besides becoming a great strategist in combat; it should be mentioned that he is quite insightful and sarcastic, and adds a lot of humor to the series.

He refuses to accept his new reality, and throughout the development of the film, which I can tell you once and for all, I thought it was super good. We see a character that becomes one with his reality, and that when he accepts his destiny, he makes the best of it and his best version, we also see the customs and love of a Latin American family, something that characterizes us to make jokes, double meanings, but above all the love for our family, that in the film, the main character emphasizes it a lot "the love he feels for his family is what makes him stronger".

The studies and research in cinematography are very deep, lighting and its tonal variation is one of the most wonderful cinematic experiences that can exist, I hope to develop many studies to improve the application of colorimetry, from lighting, art and post-production.

The flashback scenes are very well positioned (in my opinion) because they give us context and help us get to know the family better, who they are and what they are like. The cinematography is a work of art, perfectly accompanying each scene and helping to tell the story, conveying the emotions of the characters.

The screenplay written by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin, is possibly a great accumulation of clichés; everything you would expect to see from any sports movie, are present in this film; the story delivers on the basis of the outcast, the mentor, the parental fears and rejection, the love interest, the first hurdle, the big hurdle, the turning point, the pep talk and the big comeback; you will excuse me if this is considered a spoiler, but this is "Gran Turismo" possibly the movie that these screenwriters wrote with such ease and even though there is an important factor and that is that it is based on real events; it is not a reliable biography of that stage of "Jann Mardenborough's" life, but his experience was used and the above mentioned characteristics are added.

I consider myself not a crybaby when it comes to movies, that is, let's say I'm in the middle, not a stone without feelings and not a crybaby that if a baby falls I cry, but there are many movies that have brought good tears to my eyes. . , especially when I was younger and I had my dates with myself watching drama movies and terminal stories, that's why I want to share with you the ones that are my top tears.

Something I loved with every cell in my body, is that they never showed Saul's father completely, he was always blurred or cut because the shot was focused on Saul or Yocasta, he was never given more prominence than he deserved, because although he was the one who introduced Saul to the world of wrestling, his son, preferred to stay away from him when he knew he was gay, when Saul was only 15 years old, using religion as an excuse, his son, he preferred to stay away from him when he knew he was gay, when Saul was only 15 years old, using religion as an excuse, but it was completely acceptable that he had a wife, and children with his wife, and that he also had Yocasta as a lover and a son with her. Those are the priorities of religious people who want traditional family and values to remain unchanged. I hate them. They did show the father at the end, but only to tell him to go fuck himself, not literally, but I did tell the screen, it was very satisfying.
