The House of Wax is a classic movie from 2005. In fact, the first time I watched it was on VHS, how old are we? From the hands of the director of "Orphan", House of Wax is a completely chilling delivery where a group of young people arrives in a town inhabited only by wax dolls, and, as if this weren't terrifying enough, they will soon discover why they are so realistic.

Certainly something macabre for any era, so eliminating them was the best thing to do, but do you think that witches like that could be eliminated so easily? Ps the answer in his first installment, makes us see that it would not be so easy with them, the idea of staying in the world and do their evil deeds was stronger than that, that's when some children unite to save their town from the presence of these witches and prevent them from continuing to eliminate their own, so the chase will be interesting and very spooky for a night of witch hunting, although for others it was just a night of dressing up as other species, monsters that walk for a night on earth and make mischief or ask for candy, which is interesting for children.

Although there has been a number of Halloween movies prior to this one, Halloween (1978) · Halloween II (1981) · Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) · Halloween: Resurrection (2002) we never watched any of them, we're not big horror fans but in this movie there wasn't any reference to the other movies so for us it was a good thing, for the fans of the sequel it's a bit strange because the story line contradict here and there.

The movie started off well paced, with a scene that made the “Bye bye bye” song go viral. It was quite gory, but that was to be expected considering it was an R-rated movie; however, it has a good balance as it has plenty of comedy and action in equal measure, as well as fantasy and its proper dose of science fiction, like a good superhero movie.

I was also a little disappointed in the development of the film because the protagonist was not "charismatic", in the sense that she didn't have to be a good person, or a heroine to make me want her to save herself, but her personality and her way of dealing with the giant problem she had didn't grab me, it didn't make me want her to save, or even to know how she got to have the personal problems she had. But still for me the worst character was her husband, because besides being ridiculous, he did not support his wife at any time, even if he did not believe her, he never had a hint of empathy with her, he only looked for help or a way to solve the problem so that he would not be affected by whatever was happening to her.

There are even moments when he gives up because the details given don't satisfy him, but when he realizes that he won't be free until he completes the mission, he focuses on finding the bomber. After many attempts, he finds the bomber, but stopping him is a problem. Each time he makes a little more progress and eventually he gets a different mission. He wants to save not only the train but also the woman sitting across from him. By the way, it's not just about preventing this train from exploding, it's about preventing the explosion in the city center that will happen after the train explosion. In the end, will our soldier be able to accomplish his mission? Will he be able to save the woman? Most importantly, who is this soldier and why was he assigned there? You will have to watch the movie to find the answers to all these questions!

I would like to know who is the wizard character that opened the portal to the worlds or universes that exist, it seems that he is also immortal, he has human appearance but I'm not sure, my doubts are where does he come from, The woman he was looking for in those universes, what is she? apart from being his lover obviously, on the other hand, that portal leaves many things in my mind to discover, since Dracula was in Hell, but there are many other universes or worlds incomparable to hell, I don't know if I explain myself, we always think that hell is the maximum reference of evil, but seeing things from another perspective there could be worse things if that portal is used.
