Sounds like an impossible mix, but from what you tell, it sounds like they managed to make it work. 😂 I'm struck by the satirizing both genres, especially since romantic comedies are often so predictable. I'll put it on my list for next February 14, even if it's just to laugh at the clichés, good review!
Although I think it works better as a romantic comedy rather than a slasher, I think satirizing horror movies is what makes it better and even though Valentine's Day has passed, you can watch it on any date, it's a fast paced and very entertaining film.
Wise, my friend, I recommend you to have low expectations in order to enjoy this movie which I still found entertaining and funny from its point of view as a satire.
