RE: One of the best series I've ever seen: Chernobyl [ENG-ESP]

I think this was around the time HBO peaked and started to decline. This was incredibly well-made once you get over the English accents in Soviet era Ukraine.

The whole period is incredibly fascinating, and the fact that the location remains mostly untouched to this day shows the sheer scale of invisible destruction it had. I'd love to visit it and explore the older buildings one day.

Did you know there is a massive radar system in the region? Ironic that it speaks of the nuclear war anxiety with the west yet became a victim of a similar outcome without conflict. That radar's name is Duga Radar if you want to look it up.

Well, I saw the series in Latin Spanish, which is my native language, and I loved the translation, the dubbing sounded very good.

On the other hand, it is a great miniseries, HBO did a great job. Blood Brothers and The Pacific were also from HBO so they did a great job with those series.

I didn't know about that fact you mention, I'll have to look into it. Thanks for contributing these kinds of facts to my reviews.

Thanks for reading me and leaving your comment. Regards!

The Pacific

That is something I rarely see mentioned these days! Band of Brothers also.

Shows like these would always send me down into the endless hours of looking up areas on Google Maps, as well as reading and watching videos on them. The Soviets were quite reckless but they managed to create and do some really impressive things despite it.

Another thing for you to check out is the Caspian sea monster.

It is like this. I agree.

I will keep it in mind.
