The film The Heaven None Missed 3, A new Round of Polygamy

in Movies & TV Shows3 years ago (edited)
The film "The Heaven None Missed 2" was released in 2017, then. this year, I'm really looking forward to the film with this third sequel. I want to know the end of the film that has the theme of polygamy. Because, in Indonesia many people do not accept polygamy. So, in the first and second sequels, one of the women who practiced polygamy had to leave. In the first sequel, Meirose, Prasetya's second wife, had to leave the lives of Aniri and Prasetya.
--
In the second sequel, Prasetya's first wife, Arini, had to die of cancer. And Meirose re-married with Prasetya. Replacing Arini's position. In this third sequel, the first and second sequels were played by Raline Shah, but for the third sequel, Marsha Timothy had to be replaced. Also, Reza Rahardian plays Ray in the third sequel. For this sequel, referring to Meirose's past, but in her current life Meirose already has a husband and children

The first sequel of this film was directed by Kunts Agus. As for the second film, it was directed by Hanung Bramantyo. For the third sequel, it was directed by Pritagita Arinegara. In the third sequel this time, Fedi Nuril still plays Presetya. And then Marsha timothy played Meirose. And Reza Rahardian plays Ray. The character of Amran is still played by Kemal Palevi. Tanta Ginting is playing Hartono. However, the character of Nadia is played by Zara Leola.

Films shown in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic must be broadcast online through the online platform, Disney Hotstar. However, online viewing does not reduce the excitement of this film. At the beginning of the story, the audience witnessed the peaceful and comfortable home life of Meirose and Pras. Meirose had to take care of Akbar and Nadia who had grown up. And manage the boutique. The scene opens with Akbar winning an English competition at his school.

New Chapter of Meirose and Pras Life
After that, Pras got into trouble at his job. So, Pras had to sell the house he had bought when Arini was still around. Then, Meirose reunites with Ray, the man from her past. In this story, Ray is Akbar's biological father. Ray left Meirose on her wedding day. Ray's arrival in Meirose's life has shaken her household.
---
Ray tells what happened to him in the past. And began to approach Meirose again. It made Meirose and Pras' household a little shaky. The two of them decided to split up. However, I think the climax of this story is not very interesting. Unlike the first and second sequels, it does not find strong emotions.

in the first sequel, the audience was so emotional when they found out that Pras got married without being able to explain the reason. In the second sequel, the audience did not accept Arini's decision to refuse cancer therapy. He chose death and looked for Meirose to replace him as wife and mother of Nadia.

The Change of Cast Makes This Film Not a Sequel

At the beginning of the story I explained that there were two players who were replaced in this film. Raline shah was replaced by Marsha Timothy. However, Marsha Timothy's acting is very maximal. He still expresses sadness when parting with Pras and Nadia.
---
In this film, Sandrinna Michelle plays the role of Nadia. This reduces the character of Nadia in the previous two sequels. In the previous sequel, Nadia's face showed the characteristics of Yogyakarta - Indonesia.

In the previous sequel, we have seen the appearance of Reza Rahardian as a doctor named Syarif who loves Meirose. Reza also played a very good role. He could show the face of a man who was heartbroken when Meirose had to marry Pras. For this sequel, Reza plays Ray, Meirose's ex-girlfriend.
---
The presence of Reza Rahardian with a new character is indeed a little strange. You are like watching Sharif with a new character. With the change of Reza Rahardian's character, and the change of Neirose and Nadia's characters, you will be like watching a new movie, not a sequel.

I have not seen any of the movies. A while ago, I don't know if from a post by you or another user, I learned from a review of another movie that polygamy was legal in Indonesia. Although these movies seem to be emotional and approach the subject in a lighter way. I would like to see a movie that touches on that topic in a deeper way, how it affects women. I will look for more information on the subject. One thing I like about movies is that I learn about the culture of other countries.

In Indonesia, there are many people who are against polygamy. However, there are several interpretations in the holy book of Islam that explain and allow polygamy. However, it is still contradictory and there are many other interpretations. in Indonesia, state staff are not allowed to practice polygamy
