¡Hola amigos! Hoy quiero hablarles de mi apreciación sobre una película que siempre me ha gustado y la considero como una de mis favoritas, se trata de "El secreto de mi éxito" protagonizada por Michael J. Fox, una película de los 80's dirigida por Herbert Ross del género comedia.
Hello friends! Today I want to talk to you about my appreciation of a movie that I have always liked and I consider it as one of my favorites, it is "The Secret of My Success" starring Michael J. Fox, a movie of the 80's directed by Herbert Ross of the comedy style.
Si te gustan las películas de comedia y romance seguro esta te gustará, pues el protagonista pasa de ser granjero a presidente de una empresa multinacional, fue arriesgando todo lo que pudo para alcanzar el éxito sin cansarse, claro que esto lo llevó a ciertos aprietos donde pierde el empleo y se las ingenia para recuperarlo.
If you like comedy and romance movies you will surely like this one, because the main character goes from being a farmer to the president of a multinational company, he risked everything he could to achieve success without getting tired, of course this led him to certain troubles where he loses his job and manages to get it back.
En la trama, el joven granjero viaja a la ciudad de Nueva York y quiere triunfar en la misma, se gradúa y se muda lleno de ilusiones pero se desanima al darse cuenta que no es nada fácil, sin embargo él no se rinde. Llega a una corporación multinacional que dirige un tío lejano y este lo contrata de mensajero, dando paso a la gran aventura camino a la cima, no hago más spoilers para que vean la película y puedan apreciarla.
In the plot, the young farmer travels to New York City and wants to succeed in it, he graduates and moves full of illusions but is discouraged to realize that it is not easy, however he does not give up. He arrives at a multinational corporation run by a distant uncle who hires him as a messenger, giving way to the great adventure on the way to the top, I do not make more spoilers for you to see the movie and you can appreciate it.
Lo cierto es que el film envía un mensaje muy claro que puede ser captado con facilidad. A pesar que es una película de los 80's su mensaje sigue intacto y puede ser aceptado por muchas generaciones de hoy y de mañana, a mí en particular me llegó al alma, pues es un ejemplo de perseverar para alcanzar nuestras metas, cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de verla revivo sus escenas. La conservo en formato VHS en el baúl de mis recuerdos.
The truth is that the film sends a very clear message that can be easily grasped. Although it is a film from the 80's its message is still intact and can be accepted by many generations of today and tomorrow, to me in particular it touched my soul, because it is an example of perseverance to achieve our goals, every time I have the opportunity to see it I relive its scenes. I keep it in VHS format in the trunk of my memories.
El protagonista no solo encuentra el éxito que esperaba tras varios tropiezos sino que también encontró el amor, la parte curiosa es que él se enamora de la amante del tío quien también es su jefe y la esposa del tío se termina enamorando de su propio sobrino ya que se sentía sola y este se convierte en su pañito de lágrimas. Tras varios líos y dilemas logra tener una relación con la chica que él quería.
The protagonist not only finds the success he expected after several setbacks but also found love, the curious part is that he falls in love with the lover of the uncle who is also his boss and the uncle's wife ends up falling in love with his own nephew because she felt lonely and this becomes his handkerchief of tears. After several messes and dilemmas he manages to have a relationship with the girl he wanted.
Si hoy en día hicieran películas como esta, nuestra juventud o mejor dicho "algunos jóvenes" no estarían tan dudosos de sus propias capacidades, tan inseguros de sí mismos, por lo cual no estarían desanimados, el mensaje de la película es muy elocuente y fácil de entender pero la verdad es que, con tanta tecnología y con fácil adquisición, películas plagadas de violencia, sexo y drogas llevamos un mensaje confuso a nuestros jóvenes. Películas como "El secreto de mi éxito" simplemente no tendría cabida, pero sé que hay muchos jóvenes bastante maduros de mente que sabrán apreciarla.
If movies like this were made today, our youth or rather "some young people" would not be so doubtful of their own abilities, so unsure of themselves, so they would not be discouraged, the message of the film is very eloquent and easy to understand but the truth is that, with so much technology and easy to acquire, movies full of violence, sex and drugs we carry a confusing message to our young people. Movies like "The Secret of My Success" would simply not fit, but I know that there are many young people who are quite mature in their minds who will appreciate it.
