I am not too much of a fan of musicals. This is not for any particular reason. It is just that I do not find myself looking for a sequel to Hamilton, or looking for musicals to watch. I, however, find them interesting, entertaining, and appealing to my ears.
Films that imbibe elements of real-life situations often require top-notch ingenuity to effectively deliver art that resonates with the human mind.
I remember seeing High School Musical (although it cannot be compared with Tick, Tick... Boom), and how much I could comprehend the issues that lie with being a high school student. This was so because the music did well to enunciate the emotions well enough to convey the necessary message. I can well see that this is the case with this film.
Andrew Garfield is one actor that I would say is underrated. He played the popular role in Spider-Man as well as Spider-Man himself. But ever since then, I have not seen him cast for big roles other than that since then. He is, however, an excellent actor who does really well in delivering and in conveying his character's emotions to the audience.
As usual, your writing is awesome. You made me instantly go look for the film on Netflix and download it for myself. I should see the film when I get the chance
I popped in from Twitter.
I think anyone who enjoys a good movie will enjoy Tick, Tick... Boom!, even if they don't like musical movies, because the story is excellent and I think most of us can relate to what the main character is going through, On top of that the performances are great, so I have no doubt that you will enjoy it.
HSM is not a great reference in terms of musicals, so if you could find it a good side, I'm sure you'll find this one good too.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm glad you like it 🤗❤️
I have now started it and I am absolutely in love with everything I am seeing. I am, however, taking my time to see the movie due to work and all.
Take care!
